Already one of the most anticipated cuts from album, buzz will no doubt heighten after a snippet of the track made its way online literally moments ago.

Indeed, the 20 illustrious years of Mary J. Blige‘s career have seen her rise through the ranks to the status she enjoys today – music royalty.

And with the prime driver of this being the warts and all sharing of her life (with her ever-identifying audience), it’s apt that Blige is on the brink of releasing a new album titled ‘My Life II: The Journey Continues’. A sequel of sorts to 1994’s ‘My Life’, this outing sees the Grammy winner in an altogether different space and place.

In one of her only UK interviews this year, the Urban icon talks to That Grape Juice TV about the LP, her struggles, wanting to commit suicide, collaborating with Beyonce, her thoughts on the “new breed” of R&B females, coaching on The Voice (UK), her next album, and a so much more!

Despite ending her ‘Sale El Sol Tour’ in Puerto Rico  last month, things have been a little quiet on the promotional side for global songbird  Shakira.

However, all that changed yesterday when she was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame for her contributions to Pop music the world over since her international debut in 2001.

Two days ago, Christina Aguilera helped the Disney Parks get in the festive mood with a performance of the song ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas‘ in the hope of   garnering some buzz for her upcoming album, due out in 2012.

Last night, in support of ‘The Elder Scrolls Vs Skyrim‘ video game, the performer arrived at its launch in Los Angeles alongside boyfriend Matt Rutler, donning a much slimmer frame than usual and her trademark blonde locks.

‘Shake It Off’ songstress Mariah Carey has given that phrase new meaning with the recent unveiling of her post-baby bod.  The mother of 6 month old twins Monroe and Moroccan Cannon has been seen many-a-headline circulate about her post-pregnancy weight loss efforts, totaling over 60 pounds of weight loss.  Now, taking to OWN’s ‘The Rosie Show’, Mrs. Carey-Cannon is launching a media frenzy with the first look at her new body.

The music world was rocked today with the loss of rap pioneer Heavy D.  The famed rapper, whose hits include “Now That We Found Love” and “Nuthin’ But Love”, died today at age 44.  His influence, seen heavily (even today) in the Hip Hop community, led friends, fans, and followers to take to Twitter to offer condolences.

Nicki Minaj, Usher, Missy Elliott & Timbaland, and LL Cool J are just a few of the names who joined in the out-pour of support for the fallen rapper.  See their statements after the jump:
