Miami dance machine Jason Derulo treats fans to another offering from his ‘Future History’ album (due September 27).  Said to be an official ‘promotional single’, the Rick Ross-assisted ‘Make It Up As We Go’ seems aptly titled as it appears the singer did just that over many parts of the track.

Expectedly never venturing too far into the unknown, ‘Make It Up’ drives Derulo’s signature pop sound over a very familiar uptempo avenue. You decide; Is he headed for a ‘hit’ or is Derulo destined to miss?  Yield your verdict after the jump:

As reported here, legendary crooner Tony Bennett gets a helping hand from some of music’s leading ladies on his ‘Duets II’ album (due September 20).  With a guest list that features names like Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, Queen Latifah, and Amy Winehouse, it’s no surprise that buzz is building steadily as the album’s debut week draws nearer.

While we’ve already let you in on ‘Body and Soul’ – his duet with Winehouse (said to be her last recording), now fans can see what the other divas on board brought to the table.

‘Jumping Trains’ diva Jojo looks to have jumped from conductress to seductress with a recent snapshot making rounds on Twitter.  The singer unveiled the pic with the caption:

“Rockin 6 inch heels for the heck of it.. So excited for a girl’s night! My fave.”

Rapper Flo Rida was most recently spotted at the 2011 Video Music Awards readying fans for the release of his latest single ‘Good Feeling’.  Unveiled earlier this week, the song features production/sampling from producer/DJ Avicii as well as Dr. Luke.

When asked on the inspiration behind the record, Flo Rida cited ‘Single Ladies’ singer Beyonce‘s portrayal of the R&B legend in the 2008 film ‘Cadillac Records.

R&B maestra Mary J Blige lived up to her billing today when she rocked the Good Morning America‘s Summer Concert Series.

The 40 year old’s set is somewhat oddly placed as the album doesn’t arrive in stores until November, however the thousands in attendance had no reason to complain; they were treated to an array of hits, as well material from Blige’s forthcoming LP ‘My Life II: The Journey Continues’.
