It’s official: Christina Aguilera has signed on to be a judge on NBC’s new talent show, ‘The Voice’. The powerhouse singer, who is currently experiencing several personal and professional woes, will join Marron 5’s Adam Levine and Cee-Lo Green on the panel of the show which is set to air on April 26th.

This news ends any speculation that Aguilera will serve as a judge on ‘The X-Factor’ US which launches later this year. See what Aguilera has to say about her new role below:

The record was originally slated to hit stores on March 29th but it seems that the pressure of battling for the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 with Britney Spears’ ‘Femme Fatale’ has forced the Lopez to wisely reconsider the date.
