The American Music Awards 2025 were held Monday night (May 26) live at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas and – per usual – the ceremony had many-a-highlight thanks to jaw-dropping performances from the likes of Janet Jackson, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Gloria Estefan, and many more.

Yet, even with the spectacle each of the aforementioned acts provided, the biggest star of the Jennifer Lopez-hosted show remained the awards themselves.

Janet Jackson took a break from rocking the stages of Resorts World Theatre aboard her critically acclaimed Las Vegas residency to give American TV viewers a reminder of why they need to be rushing to Sin City to see her live.

On hand at the 2025 American Music Awards (also held in Vegas), Jackson was crowned this year’s recipient of the AMAs ICON Award for her “undeniable cultural and global influence over the music industry.”

Before accepting the trophy (the 12th AMA win of her career), Janet blazed the stage with a medley of some of her greatest hits including ‘Someone to Call My Lover,’ ‘All For You,’ and more. The showing marked her first award show performance in 7 years.

Jade made her solo festival debut at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2025.

Fresh from her BRIT Award win, the star showcased her live gravitas with stunning performances of her latest single ‘FUFN,’ and top 10 hit ‘Angel of My Dreams.’

The 32-year-old also thrilled with a medley of Little Mix hits, including ‘Shout Out to My Ex,’ ‘Sweet Melody,’ and ‘Touch.’

Jade’s showing comes ahead of the September 12 release of her debut album ‘That’s Showbiz Baby!’ and its like-titled tour.

The ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ are back for season 16, and the show is ushering in a brand new era.
