Rihanna, Alicia Keys, and Pink are just a few of the names that joined millions across the globe in solidarity for the Women’s March.

Purposefully timed to take place the day after Donald Trump‘s inauguration as US President, the rallies sought to celebrate womanhood and remind of the glaring inequalities that are still a reality. The latter being a core focus of the campaign given Trump’s sexually charged and degrading comments about women.

Beyond lending their name to the cause, the ladies rolled up their sleeves and took part.

In yet another case of “where is your publicist,” Chrisette Michele is pouring fuel on the fire that lit her up this week.

As widely reported, the R&B singer accepted Donald Trump‘s invitation to perform at his inauguration. A decision which angered and irked many who are disgusted with his publisized views on minorities and women.

Spike Lee was one of those disappointed in Michele and consequently deleted plans to feature her song ‘Black Girl Magic’ in an upcoming documentary.

Now, following a show of support from Lil Mo, the 34-year-old is responding – with a little help from her fiance.

Both time and a common cause can be a healer.

In years past, Madonna and Cher have gone on record to say some pretty shady comments about one another.

However, the Pop titans put on a united front last night the Women’s March to Washington. 

Staged one day after the inauguration of President Donald Trump, the march saw civilians as well as a large number of celebrities take to the streets of DC (and countless other corners of the world) to assert the rights of women and protest Trump’s sexist views.

We’re loving the camaraderie, although we do still chuckle at this…

And while most of said response was received with an approving nod from the masses, Michele’s former ‘R&B Divas: LA’ cast-mate Lil Mo is not impressed. Especially with Lee.

However, the reclusive crooner was moved to muse publicly on the inauguration of the new US president – Donald Trump.

Like millions across the United States, and indeed the world at large, Ocean seems downtrodden by the reality of Trump’s election. He’s also none-too-impressed with the efforts to smooth over the undeniable cracks of division in America.

CNN reporter and avid Trump supporter Kayleigh McEnany clearly missed the #Beyhive memo sent to political commentator Betsy McCaughey:  don’t mess with Beyonce!

As you may recall, McCaughey came under fire from the devoted fan group after attempted to slam Hillary Clinton by awkwardly quoting lyrics from Bey’s top 10 hit ‘Formation’ (click here to read more on that).  Like McCaughey, McEnany has incited Beyhive fury by slamming another one of the singer’s signature hits:  ‘Single Ladies.’

The offense came just a day after she also claimed that Beyonce was inferior to country star Toby Keith.  See the video inside:

Donald Trump’s official counsellor Kellyanne Conway has mocked Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z for endorsing Hillary Clinton during the 2016 Presidential race.

Speaking to TMZ, Conway teased the couple for their decision to back Clinton towards the end of the race and insinuated that their public support of her may have played a part in her loss.

The ‘Scream Queens’ actress previously released her ‘Waiting to Exhale’ album via Soundcloud, but the debut project failed intrigue the ears of music lovers due to its kids bop skew and undeveloped vocals.

Eager to launch a functioning music career, the 23-year-old has released a 5-track EP named ‘Lauren.’ It’s aim? To open the gates of vulnerability.

Taking its title from the Chicago-native’s first name, ‘Lauren’ aims to introduce the masses to the multi-faceted star’s charismatic personality and her journey of self-discovery.

Taking her cue from various artist who have released projects this year, Palmer accompanies the EP with a 16-minute visual that paints the mood of each track.
