While new hair colors generally indicate a new project is on the horizon, here’s hoping this switcheroo is a one-time deal.

For, as earlier reported, Pop princess Rihanna is hard at work on the video set of the Coldplay-led single ‘Princess Of China’.  Already rocking U.S. charts with a short reign in the top 20, the single is sure to be revived when full view of the clip is available.

The Barbadian yodeler, who is said to have just wrapped her own ‘Where Have You Been’ video (lifted from ‘Talk That Talk’), is also gearing up for promotion of her latest venture into film ‘Battleship’.   The Peter Berg-directed flick is set to sail into theaters on May 18th.

Believe it or not, 6 years have passed since Nelly Furtado‘s last English album.

Released June 7th 2006, ‘Loose‘- despite its blockbuster successes- saw Furtado retreat from the public eye once its campaign ended, much to the dismay of any who were hoping for the speedy release of its follow up.
