The video for Khia‘s new single ‘Been A Bad Girl’ premièred a few moments ago. Check out the Clifton Bell directed clip above…

Really though, where does one begin?! Besides the song being a boiling hot mess (ironic considering how much Khia disses everyone else), the video is pure comedy! From the tacky, faux-GaGa outfits, to the flaunting of her ‘sex appeal’ (which is as fresh as expired milk), this one will certainly get folk laughing. SMH…

‘Been A Bad Girl’ is lifted from Khia’s hotly anticipated new LP ‘Motor Mouff A.K.A Khia Shamone’ (due this Summer).

Our mailbox just received this fan review of Rihanna‘s ‘Last Girl On Earth Tour’ stop in Antwerp, Belgium on Friday (thanks Frederic). Don’t shoot the messenger…

Okay, so Tinchy Stryder was NOT the supporting act (some random DJ was). It’s sad how someone loves to make this kinda stuff up.

I’m going to tell you already, I was properly disappointed:

VOCALS
Her vocals weren’t as bad as I expected them to be, but she clearly omitted the difficult parts and even forgot some of the lyrics. I could even notice a backing track during some of the songs (Don’t Stop The Music for example).

Also, they ruined some songs by using rockier versions of it (Rude Boy and S.O.S. especially).

SHOW AND SPECIAL EFFECTS
I couldn’t almost believe it, but the choreography (if any) was really poor. There were only a couple of dancers, which didn’t impress me. Rihanna barely danced herself as well…

They used a car for the Shut Up & Drive/Fire Bomb performances and some huge monsters for Disturbia but honestly, it’s not that creative and it’s been used a million times already. I did like her dancing in the cage during Don’t Stop The Music though.

OUTFITS
I don’t know whether this is really her style, but the outfits look like she’s just picked them from Lady Gaga’s wardrobe. My friend, a HUGE Rihanna fan even said so.

INTERACTION
Same old story, “Hi Antwerp, are you having fun? I’m having a blast” etc etc. Funny thing is, it seemed to me she didn’t like being on stage at all. She came across rather moody and barely smiled.

I hate giving negative reviews but I couldn’t help but feel disappointed. Now that I’ve seen her live, I’m starting to doubt her talent as an artist.

After being written off by many, R&B star Usher can officially be hailed ‘the comeback kid’, after his latest single ‘OMG’ rocketed to the top of the Official UK Singles Chart. The will.i.am assisted track – which is currently #10 on the US chart – marks the singer’s first UK chart topper since ‘Burn’ back in 2004.

In other chart news, the eclectic Kelis scores her first UK top 10 since 2007’s ‘Lil Star’ with ‘Acapella’.

Pop superstar Lady GaGa got quite the surprise while performing on stage in Japan last night. While giving a storming rendition of signature hit ‘Bad Romance’, an over-excited fan ran to the stage, attempting to touch the 24 year old. A startled GaGa continued performing, while the fan was pulled away before making contact. Peep the video above…

Hilarious…and slightly creepy too! For real, kneeling before her?! Oh the madness. Perhaps the funniest part of all, is when the crazy appears to try and join in the routine before getting yanked off  stage by her dancers. Lord…

Sassy Rihanna donned this classy ensemble during her runway-show tour stop in the Netherlands last night. Having secured the title of Barbados’ Next Top Model a few years back, the 22 year old is renown most for her ‘originale’ fashion sense. However, judging by these two shots, it appears ol’ RiRi and her team have been studying a certain Grace Jones. See for yourself…

Granted many artists draw inspiration from figures of old (see: Beyonce), it’s interesting to point out that the truly ‘original’ acts put their own unique spin on it (again, see, Beyonce) or bring something entirely new to the table (see: Lady GaGa). One can only hope Ms Fenty was trying to give a nod to Jones, as opposed swagger-jack her image for a younger and likely unaware audience.

Randomness: I met Grace Jones about 2 years ago. One word… bonkers! Well, actually another too…’diva!’.

This week’s classic From The Vault clip is Dream‘s 2000 smash ‘He Loves U Not’. Many will remember the Bad Boy collective as the Danity Kane before there was a Danity Kane. Indeed, just like Aubrey, Dawn and co, Dream boasted much in the way of potential, however never got to achieve it due to poor label handling (no shocker with Diddy, ay) and bad management. Still, the four-piece left their mark with this winner of a song and video – which hit #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 when released. Enjoy.
