The song, ‘Caught (Don’t Take Your Hat Off)’, features none other than Golden Globe Award-winning actress Mo’Nique, who offered a touch of spoken-word comedy to the mellow track. The record is said to have been influenced by Oran ‘Juice’ Jones’ 1986 single ‘The Rain’. Check out ‘Caught (Don’t Take Your Hat Off)’ below:

This week’s Cover Star is Alanna Mitchell. The 22 year old Detroit, Michigan native turns in a commendable rendition of Destiny Child‘s 2005 hit ‘Stand Up For Love’.Check it out below:
Great performance! With the song being somewhat difficult to sing, and Alanna taking on all the verses and choruses, it’s understandable as to why there were a few iffy points. Yet for the most part, she held her own, showcasing some pretty impressing runs. More power to her!
Singer/songwriter Keri Hilson was one of the attendees at OK Magazine’s Pre-Oscar Party last night. Kudos to whoever is styling Ms. Keri-Baby these days…she is looking flawless!

Initially set to debut on Monday (March 8th), the clip now has no definitive release date, with fans being urged to keep checking her GaGa’s official website for première details. {Source}
In light of all the teasers and missed première dates, this video is going to have be EPIC so as to live up to the extraordinarily high level of expectation. I wonder what’s causing the delay?….

Though Beyonce is currently on a break from the music scene, it hasn’t stopped the mega-star from pressing on with her charitable efforts. Yesterday (March 5th) in New York, the 28 year old officially opened the Beyonce Cosmetology Center – a place designed to give recovering addicts a chance to embark on a career in the cosmetics industry.
According to the ‘Single Ladies’ singer, her inspiration for the venture came about when she was researching drug addiction for her role as Etta James in the critcally-acclaimed ‘Cadillac Records’ movie in 2008.

The video for jail-bound rapper Lil’ Wayne‘s latest single ‘Drop The World’ premièred today. Check out the clip for the Eminem-assisted cut above…
Despite the song being pretty rubbish (Eminem’s bars aside), it’s hard to deny this is a good video! Upon hearing Wayne had filmed upwards of 10 videos prior to his ever-delayed prison-stint, I envisioned rushed, mediocre quality, clips; yet I’m positively surprised by this one. Good stuff.
To celebrate the birthday of daughter Bobbi-Kristina, Whitney Houston brought the teen on stage to sing her favourite song – in front of thousands of concert-goers in Adelaide, Australia.
Houston, 46, serenaded Bobbi, who turned 17, with the song ‘Who Would Imagine A King’ from the ‘Preachers Wife’, which is apparently one of the youngster’s favourites. Check out the touching performance, as well as Whitney’s powerful rendition of ‘I Look To You’ after the jump…
