This week sees R&B star Bluey Robinson make a splash on…’The Splash’.

The singer-songwriter, who is signed to Sony Music, has been generating quite the buzz, most especially after serving as the opening act for Justin Bieber’s ‘My World Tour’(UK leg).

With new single ‘Showgirl’ garnering plenty play on radio and an album due at the top of next year, Robinson is ready to strike out on his own. And if this rousing set is anything to go by, he’s most certainly one to look out for.

‘Candy Shop’ rapper 50 Cent had nothing but sweet things to say about ‘Baby By Me’ co-star Kelly Rowland in a brief interview with MTV News recently.  The rapper, who was quizzed by the interviewer on his current favorites in the industry, gushed about the ‘Motivation’ singer – heralding her as not only ‘the most underrated female soloist in the game’, but proclaiming 2011 to be ‘her year’.

Jennifer Lopez‘s summer has been filled with ‘big announcements’.  Most recently, in an explosive report surfacing today, the Pop diva has filed for divorce from singer husband Marc Anthony.  The marriage, which is Anthony’s second and Lopez’s third,  reportedly ended ‘amicably on all terms’.

Suggesting that the only reason the album sold what it did was due to his daughter’s star power and not the efforts of a well orchestrated plan.

This comes just days after it was revealed that the ‘Single Ladies‘ starlet had allegedly parted with her father’s management over claims that he was stealing money from her.
