Rihanna may not have released music in a moment, but it goes without saying that the megastar is the moment. Seemingly ever and always.

One of the key moments the 34-year-old is keen to chronicle most is her journey into motherhood. As such, she aptly covers the March 2023 issue of British Vogue alongside her adorable baby son and partner ASAP Rocky.

Beyond posing it up in the stunning Inez & Vinoodh lensed shoot, RiRi opens up for what serves as her most candid interview in quite a while.

Dishing on a whole host of topics, the icon – who recently announced her pregnancy with her second child – discussed what it was like giving birth and the immediate aftermath of welcoming her son. She also lifted the lid on the layers of her relationship with rapper Rocky.

Elsewhere, Ms. Fenty spoke frankly about her somewhat last-minute agreement to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show – a gig she reveals she agreed to just weeks before it was formally announced.

Naturally, attention turned to new music. Indeed, as widely known, Rihanna hasn’t released an album in seven years.

And, in a response that may give some fans a glimmer of hope, she revealed that she ideally wants the follow-up to 2016’s ‘ANTI’ to drop this year and even expanded on her sonic process as well as the hurdles causing the now prolific delay.

John Legend‘s latest opus, the September-released ‘LEGEND,’ not only stands as his first to miss the top 40 upon its Billboard 200 arrival but also gave his shortest stay on the chart to date (1 week).

In a bid to get the critically acclaimed set back in front of the masses, the EGOT winner lifted the lid on a “remix” album of sorts by presenting a collection of piano-only renditions of 10 of its tracks. Called the ‘Solo Piano Version,’ the project also boasts two covers: one of Simon & Garfunkel’s ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ and the other of Sade’s ‘By Your Side.’

Speaking on the set, John said the revamped record is reminiscent of his favorite type of live shows: intimate and stripped back.

” I think my fans like it, because it strips the songs down to their essence and they hear my voice, the lyrics, the melodies really purely,” he shared with Billboard.

Rihanna‘s long-awaited return to the musical stage at Sunday’s Super Bowl LVII (February 12) is still the talk of the Web.

Cranking out her greatest hits like ‘Work,’ ‘We Found Love,’ ‘Diamonds,’ and more, the GRAMMY-winning diva dominated newsfeeds for the high-octane showing that was only outshone by the unveiling of her baby bump – confirming rumors she was pregnant with her second child.

And while fans and her celebrity peers took to social media in droves to sing her praises, names like Donald Trump and Howard Stern made headlines for doing the exact opposite.

After the former branded the 13-minute set the “worst halftime show in Super Bowl history,” the latter wondered why she even bothered to perform in the first place.

Fun fact: only 82 acts in the history of recorded music can boast the honor of having earned 20 or more Gold-certified records from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) over their careers.

A tally undoubtedly boosted by the inclusion of streaming in the certification criteria, it’s still one that’s eluded Black female performers on mass as they represent less than 10% of the hitmakers in the exclusive club.

Recently, R&B diva SZA – thanks to the ongoing success of hits found aboard her long-awaited sophomore album ‘SOS‘ – the score increased for the ladies.
