Kelly Rowland triumphed in more ways than one today on ‘The Voice Australia.’

The songbird, who is a coach on the hit series, won her second season on the platform when her contestant Sam Perry was voted to victory.

Perry, who has attracted controversy due to his use of electronic instruments and  elements, clearly struck the right chord with viewers who voted him to victory.

Ahead of the announcement, the pair took to the stage together to perform a spirited rendition of Michael Jackson‘s ‘They Don’t Care About Us.’

And while Ms. Kelly was guesting, she showed up and showed out – dancers and dancing and all.

Death threats, public shaming, and the sharing of his personal and family’s information online are the result of a Wisconsin man’s battle with #Barbz after he labelled their leader a ‘hypocrite.’

Before the melee, the ‘Chun-Li’ creator Nicki Minaj herself came out swinging at the Twitter user who slammed  her for what he deemed a ‘hypocritical’ stance on female sexuality, a topic she brought to the forefront of her recent sitdown with ‘Elle’ magazine when she weighed in on promiscuity and prostitution.

Also acting as covergirl of the mag’s most recent edition, Minaj said:

“Maybe I was naïve, but I didn’t realize how many girls were modern-day prostitutes,” she begins. “Whether you’re a stripper, or whether you’re an Instagram girl—these girls are so beautiful and they have so much to offer. But I started finding out that you give them a couple thousand dollars, and you can have sex with them. I was like, Yikes. It’s just sad that they don’t know their worth. It makes me sad as a woman. And it makes me sad that maybe I’ve contributed to that in some way.”

The address didn’t exactly sit well with many detractors, some of whom pointed to the Grammy nominee’s sexually explicit lyrics as grounds for billing her comments as duplicitous. One such commenter, who took his thoughts directly to Minaj’s Twitter page as we mentioned aboe, may have been surprised to not only see her clap back but do so in a fiery way.  Did you miss any of the action? Readers of That Grape Juice know what avid music lovers we are – especially of hits past.

So, as our retrospective features ‘From the Vault’ and ‘TGJ Replay’  allow us the chance to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday of one artist, our newest feature Chart Rewind – a variation of our current Retro Rewind assay – accedes salutes to an entire era of music history.

This week we celebrate ‘Scream,’ the iconic pairing of music’s most legendary siblings Michael and Janet Jackson. Released as the first single from Michael’s ‘HIStory’ album and produced by Janet’s longtime producers Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, the track serves as an open letter to the press following MJ’s 1993 legal drama. The high-octane cut see the sibling flaunt a more aggressive tone (compared to their preceding offerings), which in tandem compliments their controversial lyrics (“Just stop pressuring me, stop f*cking with me”).

A dream collaboration on paper, the blissful reality was rendered ever better with the help of ‘Scream’s award-winning video – the most expensive in history.  Going on to surpass the platinum mark and be marked a fan favorite among both stars’ respective catalogs, look inside to remember the magic that was ‘Scream’ (and see who joined the song in the top 25 this week 23 years ago):

This month saw Lil Kim celebrated for her contributions to black culture by the city of New York and honoured with a ceremony erected to honour her undeniable impact.

Alas, what should have been a day of love, laughter and celebration has turned into one of concern and confusion after several spectators took to Twitter to condemn her friend Maino for- as far as they see it- trying to steal her shine in the tackiest way.

Beyond flexing her comedic muscle with Jimmy Fallon for a segment that saw the duo disguised as subway singers (click here to watch that), last night’s episode of ‘The Tonight Show’ saw Christina Aguilera belt out ‘Fall In Line’ – one of many gems found aboard her long-awaited new album, ‘Liberation’ (click here to listen to the album in full).

Backed by a army-like troop, the songbird took vocal flight like only she can with the track, which in single form features Demi Lovato.

It’s the eve of the release of Christina Aguilera‘s sixth studio album ‘Liberation’ and, like many, we’re still pinching ourselves that it’s still…happening.

And while we’re elated that she’s finally stood up from The Voice‘s spinning chair (anyone else feel she was glued to it at a point?), we are wondering one thing:

Where’s the much discussed Pink collaboration?

As two of Pop’s premier voices, the prospect of the pairing left many in a state of constant excitement. Particularly in light of their former feud. Then the ‘Liberation’ tracklist was revealed and the cut was nowhere to be found.

Well, in a new interview Xtina opens up about the cut, which it seems we may be hearing at some point…soon.

Tiffany Haddish is crowned ‘Comedy’s New Queen’ a-front of the latest issue of The Hollywood Reporter.

And with understandable reason. Several, in fact.

Since her breakout success in last summer’s surprise smash ‘Girls Trip,’ the star – who, at 38, is redefining the rules surrounding the age of “making it” – has been on a hot streak like no other.

In one year alone, she’s nabbed blockbuster deals with Netflix and HBO, hosted SNL, starred in a major Super Bowl commercial, released a book, and landed a slew of new roles – with ‘Night School’ co-starring Kevin Hart being one of her most anticipated.

And if that made for a compelling read, her interview feature is even more magnetic.

Doing away with the stuffy political correctness which pervades Hollywood, Haddish is refreshingly candid about…well…everything.

During the chat, she opens up about the business drawbacks of blowing up suddenly, love interests having ulterior motives, and rumored conflicts with ‘The Last OG’ co-star Tracy Morgan.

Perhaps most titillating is her long-awaited reveal of #WhoBitBeyonce.

What are you waiting for? Pics and excerpts await after the jump…

Maxwell is back.

The Neo-Soul pioneer has unlocked new single ‘We Never Saw It Coming.’

Aptly titled, the track launch comes as somewhat of a surprise, although the crooner had been cryptically teasing the title ‘The Glass House’ on social media.

As it turns out, ‘The Glass House’ is a dramatic short film designed as a vehicle for ‘We Never Saw It Coming’.

We wish we could tell you more about the Bush + Renz helmed visual, but it premiered on TIDAL and is currently sitting on the platform as an exclusive. So there goes that.

Thankfully though, the song has been made available more widely. Take a listen below…
