Following her recent suicide attempt, R&B star Fantasia resurfaced this week in her home-town Charlotte, North Carolina. According to our good friends over at Sound-Savy, the 25 year old was a surprise performer at the city’s annual Big Chill event last night (August 20th).

After being welcome with raptous applause, the American Idol alum said:

“I been in the house for a week so you know I’m bout to act ugly… When they said it was over for me, I’m here to say I’m back!”

She then launched into an emotionally-charged rendition of current single ‘Bittersweet’ – which you can watch below…

Check out That Grape Juice’s latest Cover Star singing Rihanna’s Russian Roulette. The young performer, who hails from Houston, Texas, belts out the track while perched on her kitchen counter. Her performance can be seen below:

Tracie did more than cover the song; she knocked it out of the park! Vocal on point and passionate, Tracie took the record to a whole new place. It’s amazing how good a music sounds when performed by someone with actual talent.

Peep Pop star Kelly Rowland on the set of the video for her new International single ‘Forever And A Day’ in Los Angeles yesterday (August 20th).

Renown choreographer Laurie Ann Gibson is choreographing the video. Many will remember Gibson (Boom Kack) from MTV’s Making The Band, as well as for choreographing many a Lady GaGa routine (‘Paparrazi’, ‘Bad Romance’, and ‘Telephone’).
