The UK’s top group JLS performed an exclusive show at London’s Hammersmith Apollo earlier today. Sponsored by Nokia Comes With Music and T-Mobile, the event drew thousands and was attended by competition winners and industry pundits only (That Grape Juice was in the house).

Lady GaGa stopped by CNN yesterday. The Pop phenom took the time during the feature piece to explain her fashion sense, something that many consider to be an integral part of her success. GaGa’s debut album, ‘The Fame’, has thus far sold over 8 million copies worldwide and she has 2 #1 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 to date.

Although many aspects of GaGa’s style have been taken from Grace Jones and Leigh Bowery, she is definitely the most interesting performer on the scene today. Every time we see her, she displays a new piece as she continues to impress and shock her audiences. My only concern is whether she will be able to continue this for much longer. Just like writers experience a lack of inspiration (‘writer’s block’), I wonder how long it will be before her well of ideas runs dry.

Chris Brown hit the runway during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week last evening. The energetic performer took part in supermodel Naomi Campbell’s Fashion for Relief: Haiti show at Bryant Park in New York City. Check out more images of the young one below:

I mean, for as much as I was feeling some of the cuts, it’s not a good look when one’s whole album (a few tracks aside) has made the rounds on the net prior to release. Thus far, (correct me if wrong) previously heard tracks are ‘Still Standing’, ‘One In A Lifetime’, ‘Everything To Me’, and ‘Love All Over Me’ – all of which are great songs, and have me eager to hear what else Ms. Arnold will be serving up. Roll on March…

R&B stars Brandy and Kelly Rowland celebrated their birthdays jointly last night at Mansion Night Club in Miami. The pair share the same exact birthday (February 11th), with Brandy having turned 31, while ‘Like This’ singer Rowland turned 29. Grammy and Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson took to the stage at the White House Celebration of Music From The Civil Rights Movement, giving a live rendition ‘Someday We’ll All Be Free’. As ever, Jenny did a great job.

What do you think of the performance?

Leona Lewis premiered the music video for her new single ‘I Got You’ moments ago. The song, which has thus far peaked at #29 on the UK R&B chart, serves as the 2nd single off of the vocal mistress’ sophomore album, ‘Echo’, in that territory. The LP has thus far been certified double platinum in the UK, despite barely selling over 100k in the US.

A video that tells a good story. This song should have been the 1st single from Lewis’ album instead of the dreadfully boring ‘Happy’. However, given that Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, I am certain that it will get the push it needs to climb the charts. Whether or not another single will be released in the US remains to be seen, although I highly doubt that most people in that country are eager to here more from ‘Echo’ given its album sales.

Alexandra Burke was spotted in Haiti recently. The UK singer is said to be working with Save The Children to help the impoverished youth of the nation. Burke also contributed her voice to the remake of REM’s ‘Everybody Hurts’ alongside fellow ‘X Factor’ alum Leona Lewis, and others, to help raise funds for Haitian relief. The song sold over 205k units in its first 2 days of release, outselling all of the other top 20 singles release that week, combined. {Source}
