Next, we’ll look back at female Rap’s most pronounced year to date!

The female Rap scene has seen the introduction of a wave of major names over the last decade. Artists like  Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and the City Girls have proven that they possess the lyrics, flow and aesthetic to back up their buzz.

Indeed their songs not only have us bopping in the car, but also have empowered many young women to be themselves… unapologetically.

After a lengthy drought and bewildering “one-at-a-time entrance policy,” the industry has been blessed with the emergence of so much talent unilaterally.

With all of this, there’s been an influx of new names making a splash – as well as a few that may have flown under the radar.

Don’t worry, though. We’ve got you covered.

The Detroit-born femcee may be hard-at-work on her sophomore album, the follow-up to 2019’s critically acclaimed ‘Stacked,’ but thanks to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) she can now stack another career first on her growing pile of achievements.
