A new snippet has surfaced from the recording sessions of Kelly Rowland‘s forthcoming 3rd album*. Titled ‘Just Whisper’, the song ironically sees Rowland belting and using her full voice over the guitar driven production. Take a listen below…
Kelly Rowland‘s new single ‘Commander’ has received an almost unanimously positive reception since debuting two weeks ago; with only a select few lamenting over its ‘dance’ sound. It now appears Rowland and her team are set to cover all ground, in the form of an ‘Urban Mix’ of the song. Hitmaker Rico Love (who penned the song), played the slowed down, R&B incarnation of ‘Commander’ on Twitter moments ago. Check it out below…
A snippet of a new Kelly Rowland track has surfaced in the form of ‘The Sound (On & On)’. Set for inclusion on the Pop star’s forthcoming LP, the song certainly boasts the International feel the Destiny’s Child alumni has been gushing about when speaking about the project. Take a listen below…
Kelly Rowland‘s brand new single ‘Commander’ has finally premièred!
The epic up-tempo sees Rowland reunite with ‘When Love Takes Over’ producer David Guetta. However, unlike ‘Takes Over’, ‘Commander’ boasts an Urban edge (likely courtesy of the Rico Love, who penned the cut); an edge which, along with the song’s infectious chorus, should see it appeal to the both the Urban and Pop audience.
“From here on out I’ll be your Commander”, Rowland belts. Indeed, the song introduces the world to a fiercer, more ferocious, and ultimately more ‘in-charge’ incarnation of the Destiny’s Child alum. A delicious slice of Electro-Pop greatness, this looks poised to be the song which propels Rowland into the Pop stratosphere as a solo artiste.
Amazing.
Kelly Rowland has been teasing her fans who have been desperately waiting to hear material from her new album. Now, while singer continues to ready the project, a new song from the Rowland has just made it’s debut. However, the track, ‘Everywhere You Go‘, isn’t from her new LP; it’s the theme song for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. ‘Everywhere You Go’ was produced by Steve Morales and features a host of African artists including 2Face, Awadi, Chameleone, Crotale, Jozi, Kwesta, Rola, Samini, Slikour and Zuluboy. Listen to the song below {Shout out to Kelly-Rowland.net}:
With Kelly Rowland wrapping up the recording of her hotly anticipated 3rd studio album, a new track titled ‘Smooches’ has surfaced. The buzz track, which is produced by hitmaker Bangladesh (‘Diva’, ‘Bossy’, ‘A Milli’), sees Rowland amp up the swagger over a gritty, club-ready beat. An Urban smash-in-waiting, no doubt! Check out the track below:
As previously reported, our girl Kelly Rowland has been working with hit-maker Ne-Yo on her forthcoming Universal Motown debut. There is now reliable word that new Ne-Yo demo ‘Tonight’ (formerly titled ‘Halo’) has indeed been recorded by the Destiny’s Child alumni for the record.
Although it’s currently unknown if the reference track will indeed feature on the album (which itself is said to be close to completion), the song certainly makes for a compelling listen. If this is what Ms. Kelly is cooking up in the lab, I’m even more amped for the album than I was previously! Produced by Stargate and penned by Ne-Yo, the song is a great embodiment of the Urban/Pop/Dance sound Kelly is going for this go round.

As Kelly Rowland puts the finishing touches on her 3rd studio album, a new track in the form of the Michael Buble assisted ‘How Deep Is Your Love’ has surfaced.
Though unlikely to feature on Ms. Kelly’s as yet untitled Universal Motown debut (despite probably being recorded during the same sessions), the song is a great take on the original Bee Gee’s classic. Some distance away from what we’re used to hearing from the Destiny’s Child star sound-wise, her criminally underrated vocals are given centre-stage here, with the beauty of her tone, range and delivery shining all the way through. Great track.
As the release of Kelly Rowland‘s hotly anticipated new album draws ever-nearer its May/June release, producer Rico Love has given fans a taster of what the LP will sound like. The hit-maker, who is co-producing Rowland’s entire project, previewed an instrumental of a confirmed album track on Twitter a few moments ago. Eager to get a feeler of what Ms. Kelly’s single is set to sound like? Check it out after the jump!…..
As our girl Kelly Rowland puts the finishing touches to her third studio album, a remix of Mario‘s ‘Thinkin’ of You’ featuring the Destiny’s Child alum surfaced a few moments ago.
While it may seem like somewhat of a random song for Ms. Kelly to jump on, it hardly surprises us as The Runners produced cut was penned by Rico Love (Beyonce’s ‘Sweet Dreams’ and ‘Radio’), who is overseeing Kelly’s project.
About the song itself, Ms. Kelly worked it out! As well as adding another dimension to the already cracking track, Kelly’s vocals (as evidenced by some of the adlibs and runs) show a lot of vocal maturity (we always knew she could cut it live, yet previous studio recordings had been played too safe IMO). Great remix!
Be sure to keep it locked on That Grape Juice for a special announcement about Kelly very soon!
