Ayra Starr bulldozed global barriers with her breakout hit ‘Bloody Samaritan.’

And the hard-hitting jam is proving to be the gift that keeps giving. For, GRAMMY-winning superstar Kelly Rowland has on-boarded the track for a special remix.

Lifted from the forthcoming deluxe edition of Starr’s debut album ’19 & Dangerous’ (due October 14), the refreshed take on the track sees the newcomer and the veteran blend their butter-smooth vocals with delicious results.

Speaking on the release (which follows recent single ‘Rush’), Starr said:

“I’ve always been a huge fan of Kelly Rowland and when this came up, I could barely keep in the excitement! While recording this, Kelly made me feel so comfortable and relaxed, something I really appreciate. She was super amazing and I was able to hold my own alongside a legend and I can’t wait to share this new music with you all!”

Kelly Rowland rings in the holiday season with a fresh festive rendition of ‘Wonderful Time.’

Famously sung by Andy Williams in the 1960s, Ms. Kelly’s newly hatched take on the track sees her team up with production ensemble NOVA WAV – who help the songbird put a unique twist on the Christmas classic.

The song arrives amidst a number of holiday activations spearheaded by the singer, including Lifetime movie ‘Merry Liddle Christmas Baby’ (due November 27) and a performance of ‘Wonderful Time’ at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (which was watched by 20 million).

Upcoming producer Amorphous is making a name for himself.

Case in point, his song, ‘Finally (Cannot Hide It),’ features Kelly Rowland and CeCe Peniston. The house-infused track samples Peniston’s 1991 hit ‘Finally.’ It also includes production from MNEK.

Across the track Rowland sings:

Finally, it has happened to me / Right in front of my face / My feelings can’t describe it.

The track is lifted from Amorphous’ debut EP ‘Things Take Shape,’ which is set to feature Kehlani and Brandy as well.

It may be Kelly Rowland‘s 40th birthday (February 11), but she’s the one handing out presents as evidenced by the surprise release of her latest single, ‘Black Magic.’

Produced by Sak Pase, the dance-infused production comes as a timely nod to Black excellence as it houses lyrics that sees Rowland praise Black history…and Black history in the making.

“When it all falls down / They gon’ write their books about us (Ooh) / When it all goes down / How will their world look without us / Without us, without us,” she croons.

Kelly Rowland‘s got new music locked, loaded, and ready to aim for the top of R&B charts courtesy of her soon-to-be-hit, ‘Hitman.’

Stunning fans with the surprise announcement of its arrival just Thursday (November 19), the GRAMMY winner’s firing off the new song in partnership with the NFL and the its Songs of the Season project.

Sampling ‘Follow Follow’ by iconic Nigerian artist Fela Kuti, ‘Hitman’ follows follows new Kelly cuts – ‘Coffee’ and ‘Crazy’ – and is expected to feature on her long-awaited fifth studio album.

Thanks to the popularity of her first Lifetime holiday film, ‘Merry Liddle Christmas’ (as we reported here), Kelly Rowland makes history for the network by toplining its first ever Christmas sequel – ‘Merry Liddle Christmas Wedding.’

Set to air November 28 at 8pm, the new movie assembles the prequel’s cast and stars the likes of Rowland, Thomas Cardot, Debbi Morgan, Bresha Webb, Latonya Williams, Jaime M. Callica, Nathan Witte, Chris Shields, and more.

Like last year’s warmly received ‘Love You More at Christmas Time’ (click here to listen), the flick’s GRAMMY-winning lead is building anticipation for it by unveiling a featured cut from its accompanying soundtrack.

Kelly Rowland is a busy belle these days.

Indeed, when not cooking up a new album, the pregnant singer is adding to her film portfolio. And Justin Simien‘s Hulu effort ‘Bad Hair’ is her latest.

Ms. Kelly appears in the edgy movie, which also stars Usher and Lena Waithe, as 80s singer Sandra.

A role which brings with it original new music performed by the star.

With ‘Bad Hair’ now available to stream, so too is its soundtrack – which features THREE new songs from Rowland.
