After observing fellow entertainers Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber make a number of desperate (and at times offensive) moves towards “Urban” music, the former Disney star finds his transition from PG-friendly Pop prince to grown’n’sexy Rhythm & Pop newbie welcomed by the very audience Cyrus and Bieber are still yet to win over completely.

Now listen to his latest effort ‘Numb‘, featuring rapper Angel Haze and packing a sound that’ll no doubt give a number of his contemporaries good reason to consider him serious competition.

Rising star Tinashe‘s new album ‘Aquarius’ continues to earn praise aplenty from critics.

Yet, in a bid to ensure the LP (which currently sits at #6 on the iTunes tally), hits a home-run commercially, the ‘2 On’ singer stopped by The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1 today to promote away.

And it’s a memo Nick Jonas seems to have read and digested.

For, yesterday the 22-year-old became a viral sensation when a racy new photoshoot for Flaunt Magazine spread like wildfire.

The snaps, which – given our family site stance – are a tad too revealing to post (but are easily locatable online) saw the former Jonas Brothers member recreate Mark Walberg’s infamous underwear pose — leaving little to the imagination.

Beyond instantly raising the singer’s profile, the edgy images have raised the chart position of his latest single ‘Jealous’ too.
