With her hit single ‘2 On’ still making waves on charts, Urban pop newcomer Tinashe is ready to move forward with its highly anticipated parent album ‘Aquarius.’   Her official debut project, the LP – set for release via RCA records – comes after a slew of mixtapes helped build industry buzz for the high octane performer.

Tinashe most certainly brought the heat at ‘Phlextravaganza 2k14’ recently, rocking her audience with a performance that was scorching to say the very least.

She may be the fastest rising R&B starlet on the ‘Hot 100’, but it would seem Rihanna‘s fan base, the Navy, are anything but impressed by Tinashe‘s impressive rise to superstardom.

Why they’ve taken aim at the ‘2 On’ singer? Well, after one Rihanna uncovered a series of tweets published by the singer allegedly dissing the ‘Loud‘ singer, it wasn’t long before the fan base launched a digital assault on Tinashe, flooding her timeline with a river of insults.

The first rapper to join the series which uses genealogical and genetic research to find the ancestors of American celebrities, Nas‘ journey on the show saw him brought face to face with an unsettling truth he was “enraged” to find.

With a host of new names vying for chart glory, Tinashe has emerged as one of the most magnetic.

The R&B belle has one of the year’s most resonating singles in ‘2 On’, which has brewed the perfect storm of buzz for its parent album ‘Aquarius’ (due September).

Still, the question remains: who is Tinashe?

The folk over at The Fader have teamed with Sonos to find out. Together they tapped the stage blazer for their ‘At Home With’ series.

This episode sees the 21-year-old invite the cameras into her La Cresenta, California home – which she still lives in with her parents and siblings.
