Four police officers have been federally charged for their roles in the death of Breonna Taylor.
In a case that shocked the world and was crucial to re-amplifying the pulse of the Black Lives Matter movement, Taylor was shot to death in her home in Louisville, Kentucky.
Plainclothes officers executed a “no-knock” search warrant and opened fire on the unarmed Black woman as she lay in bed.
Prior to now, only one of the police involved (Brett Hankinson) was charged in relation to the case after firing 10 shots. There was public outcry after he was acquitted earlier this year.
Now, a fresh twist has given new hope in the quest for justice.
