Are Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida on the brink of a break-up? If the latter’s words are anything to go by, the answer is “yes”.

‘The Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ couple has been at the centre of a media storm following Nida’s second criminal conviction – this time for multiple counts of fraud.

This month saw him sentenced to a whopping 8 years in prison for his crimes; a sentence which cast immediate doubt on the fate of his marriage to attorney/mortician Parks.

The speculation looks set to intensify too. For, during an interview with Atlanta’s B-100 radio station today, the father of Parks’ two sons revealed that he believes she will divorce him once he’s in the slammer. His reason for thinking as such? “(She) didn’t even f***ing show up” for his sentencing.

On Sunday evening, the ‘2014 BET Awards‘ kicked off at LA’s ‘Nokia Theatre’ packing appearancrs  by August Alsina, Sevyn Streeter (above) Robin Thicke, Iggy Azalea, Nicki Minaj and ‘Loyal’ singer Chris Brown.

Today, two days later, the show’s ratings have seen it named the highest rated awards ceremony of this season, setting a number of enviable records while doing so.

Despite February’s reports that the show had been renewed for a season 2, news circulated tonight that Arsenio Hall’s CBS rebooted talk show will not see it.

The show, which boasted impressive ratings upon the debut of its inaugural season, quickly saw a drop in viewership as the year progressed.  Not even a roster of high profile guests in the form of Eddie Murphy, Jay Leno, and more could save the late nite ship from sinking…

After tasting ratings success with TLC biopic ‘CrazySexyCool’, VH1 are once again venturing into the scripted film arena. Their latest production? ‘Drumline: A New Beat’ – the sequel to the hit 2002 flick ‘Drumline’.

As previously announced, Nick Cannon (who serves as producer on the reboot) reprises his role as Devon Miles in the marching band movie. Yet, today saw the network draw back the curtain and reveal who else will be joining the mogul in ‘Drumline’s second outing.

As the 2015 TV season draws nearer, the ABC renewals list appears to be the gift that keeps giving.

For having announced that ‘Scandal’ has been renewed  up for a fourth season, the network have followed up with confirmed pick-ups for popular shows ‘Revenge’ and ‘Resurrection’.

Despite disbanding almost ten years ago, the story of Destiny’s Child remains one millions the world over continue to be fascinated by.

Indeed, the narrative of the Grammy-winning group is as juicy as juicy gets – from line-up changes, to rumors of favouritism, there was never a dull moment with the children of Destiny.

Clearly, Wendy Williams agrees. For, the talk-show maven welcomed former member LaTavia Roberson onto her show today.

The singer and budding author, is currently enjoying a renewed turn in the spotlight thanks to TVOne hit ‘R&B Divas’ – which she was naturally keen to promote.

Still, it wouldn’t be Wendy if the tough questions weren’t asked – and ask she did. Topics discussed include her time in the band and her infamous departure, the group’s manager (and Beyonce’s dad) Mathew Knowles, and much more.

It is said all good things must come to an end.  And, if news sources are to be believed, the latest good thing coming to a close is BET’s top rated religious program ‘Celebration of Gospel’.

After 14 years of seeing its stages graced by the best of R&B and gospel including legends Whitney Houston and The Clark Sisters to new schoolers Monica, Destiny’s Child, and more, the show appeared to be at the height of its popularity.  As the 2014 edition, hosted by Academy Award-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson, boasted the series’ best ratings ever,  fans believed the show’s newest slogan of “forward in faith” was fitting indication that it was moving full speed ahead.
