Peep the official album cover for the US version of JLS‘ self-titled debut, which was unveiled today.

Really though, where does one begin? Putting to one-side the obvious (insert Wendy Williams catchphrase), why are they even releasing in the US? Besides churning out wack music, wack routines, and just being all-round wack, their ‘test-the-waters’ single ‘Everybody In Love’ tanked terribly Stateside – garnering next-to-no radio play or public interest.

Important to point out, is that the UK boast MUCH in the way of US-ready talent. Just not in the form of JLS. What’s more, if the likes of Day26 are struggling to make an impact on the charts, what exactly are Aston and co going to do? Nice guys perhaps, but let’s keep it real…

In response to the publicity stunt swirling controversy surrounding his marriage to Christina Milian, The-Dream has decided to break his silence  and issue a statement regarding the situation via his official site. Mr. Nash has taken “full responsibility” for the situation and noted that his marriage to the singer had been “failing” for a while. Peep what he had to say below:

Pop star Pink was rushed to hospital last night after an air-stunt went wrong at her concert in Nurnberg, Germany.

The harness which was supposed to carry the singer (real name Alecia Moore) above the audience was not fastened properly by her assistants (a fact she visibly makes clear). However, the 29 year old’s calls seemed to fall on deaf ears, as she was launched – unattached – into the audience, crashing hard into the barricade. The concert was subsequently brought to an abrupt close, as she was rushed to hospital.

Pink later wrote on Twitter:

“Nothing’s broken, no fluid in the lungs, just seriously sore.

To all my nurnberg fans – I am so so so sorry to end the show that way. I am embarrassed and very sorry. I’m in ambulance now but I will b fine. Didn’t get clipped in2 harness correctly, drug me off stage, fell in2 barricade. Getting xrays. I hope it at least looked cool!!!”

Lloyd found himself in hot water late last year when he claimed that Ciara had been changed by fame. The singer suggested that because of how she had changed that he doesn’t “get down with her anymore”. However, Lloyd has decided to issue a public apology regarding his statements. Marie (posing in white jacket), according to reports, is lady who was spotted steaming it up with the married producer, real name Terius Nash, on a Caribbean beach.

Interestingly, Marie deleted her Facebook with the swiftness this morning, following the publication of the images. Figures.

Speculation surrounding the relationship between The-Dream and Christina Milian is set to intensify after the hit-making producer was snapped ‘getting close’ with a mystery woman while holidaying in the Caribbean last week. The pictures come just one month after he strenuously denied that there was any issues in their marriage.

Interesting to note is that it’s less than a year since the producer (real name Terius Nash) and Milian married (they tied the knot in September 2009). The couple’s daughter Violet was born this February. Nash has three other children with ex-wife, R&B singer Nivea.

Despite the lead single from Usher‘s newly-announced EP  ‘Versus’ having only just premièred, details of its follow-up have surfaced. It now appears that the Pop-flavoured ‘DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love’ will be the record’s Mainstream/Crossover single, while new track ‘Hot Tottie’ – which was produced by Polow Da Don – will be geared towards the Urban audience. ‘Hot Tottie’ is reportedly set to hit radio on August 9th. {Source}

Who would have thought a year or even 6 months ago that Mr Raymond would have the industry in the palm of his hand again? With ‘Raymond vs Raymond’ serving as one the year’s biggest sellers and ‘DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love’ blowing up on radio already, it really has been a great comeback for the father of two. Here’s hoping her serves up the goods with the new release. ‘Versus’ hits stores August 24th.

Randomness: Did you know Usher is no longer managed by his mother? After dropping her during Tameka-gate, then re-hiring her afterwards, the R&B crooner is now managed by AEG and Randy Philips (the man behind Michael Jackson’s ‘This Is It’). There’s no doubt his signing with Philips (whose financial and business resources are limitless) has been a major factor in his reversal of career fortunes.

Despite calls to the contrary, Lil’ Kim is apparently still relevant – according to the rapper herself.

In a recent interview with Life Lounge, the 34 year old star states that she is still relevant and has remained so because of her ability to reinvent herself – something she feels artists of today need to do more.
