RIAA: Jazmine Sullivan’s ‘Pick Up Your Feelings’ Earns Singer’s Very First Platinum Plaque

Over a year after its debut, Jazmine Sullivan‘s comeback EP – ‘Heaux Tales’ – continues to write new chapters in its success narrative.

Her highest-peaking project on the Billboard 200 to date, the enduring wins of ‘Heaux’ can be attributed in no small part to its critically acclaimed single ‘Pick Up Your Feelings’ – which gave the R&B diva her highest-charting hit on the Hot 100 since 2010.

Now, according to news from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), ‘Pick Up’ is picking up even more accolades thanks to ongoing attention from streaming and digital download outlets.

Watch: Naughty By Nature’s Treach Talks New Movie ‘Vanished: Searching For My Sister’

Anthony ‘Treach’ Criss conquered the Rap sphere as part of Naughty By Nature and now he’s flexing his acting skillset in the new movie ‘Vanished: Searching For My Sister.’

Set to premiere on Lifetime on January 22, the film unravels the layered lives of twins Jada and Kayla (both played by Tatyana Ali).

Already polar opposites, the sisters find their paths intertwined when wild child Kayla goes missing and her mild-mannered Jada sets sail on a search that uncovered the dark world her sibling has fallen into.

Ahead of the movie’s premiere, Treach sat down with That Grape Juice‘s Chet Kincaid to discuss his role, his broader foray into acting, the importance of diversifying one’s hustle, and much more.

Christina Aguilera Addresses Britney Spears Conservatorship Drama

Christina Aguilera is hot on the promotional trail for her new Spanish-language EP ‘La Fuerza.’

On her press trek, she sat down for an interview with radio host Enrique Santos.

And while much of the discourse centered around the project, talk eventually turned to Xtina’s contemporary Britney Spears.

The pair’s names have long been interlinked, dating back to their days on The Mickey Mouse Club and, of course, the launch of their respective Pop careers.

In recent times, the duo made headlines after Spears oddly appeared to take umbrage with Aguilera for…speaking well of her in the wake of her emancipation from the conservatorship that governed her life for 13-years.

At the time, the ‘Slave 4 U’ singer threw jabs at the 41-year-old for “refusing to speak up” before the legal mandate was dissolved – even though Aguilera is on record doing exactly that.

Still, Xtina didn’t shy away from addressing the topic of Spears when host Santos brought her up.
