“We highly value our relationship with Ms. Knowles. It is categorically untrue that L’Oréal Paris altered Ms. Knowles’ features or skin-tone in the campaign for Feria’s hair color.”
A rep for the 27-year-old Knowles declined to comment beyond the L’Oréal statement.
The ad is appearing in this month’s Elle, Allure and Essence. So far the magazines have not said anything about possible Pantone issues. {Source}
Granted we all know that was a lie from the pits of hell (I mean, honestly now…), it was unlikely they’d own up to such nonsense. After all, that would allow for increased debate about the whole issue; they wouldn’t want that now, would they. SMH…
Any thoughts?
No, just no…
Look real interesting. Glad to see Janet and MTV on such good terms again.
Will you be tuning in to Janet’s new show?
“[MTV] will follow the hip-hop star as he performs more than 1,000 of community service before beginning to serve his one-year prison sentence next spring. Ish Entertainment is behind the untitled series, which has scored an eight-episode order from MTV. Cameras already chronicled T.I.’s release from house arrest, and shooting will start in earnest this summer, leading up to his return to jail in early 2009. MTV plans to air the show some time soon after that.” {Source}
Though I’m kinda iffy about the prospect of yet another reality show, I must say the concept sounds pretty interesting. Having enjoyed Lil’ Kim’s pre-jail show ‘Countdown To Lockdown’ a few years back, this one definitely seems like it’ll be worth tuning into. It’s just a shame that our artists aren’t starring in such shows for more postive reasons.

The new show, which is currently in production, will follow the actress, singer and producer as she mothers her two newborn babies, Max and Emme, and manages other aspects of her career, including launching a new fragrance. Lopez said regarding the project: “I’m thrilled to be part of the TLC family. I’m looking forward to sharing this exciting journey together.” {Source}
I guess when all else fails, reality TV is the way to go. In all fairness to Jennifer, this may actually give her a platform to try and salvage what’s left of her music career.
Will you be checking for J. Lo’s reality show?
Granted some of the wording in the intro is highly questionable ‘…changed the face of R&B forever’ (errm…), I’m really looking forward to this. With the barrage of girl-groups that flooded the music scene in the mid-late 90’s, I definitely considered Blaque to have shown the most promise (Destiny’s Child aside). What’s more, right up to their most recent release, they continue to show a lot of artistic growth. here’s hoping things work out for the best.
Will you be checking for for Blaque’s show?
Check out the third preview of B2K’s forthcoming reality show:
Watching this back really reminded me of how badly Chris Stokes screwed them over; Omarion comes across kinda wrong too. I’m actually hoping these guys make something of themselves with this comeback – if only just show that you can’t hold people down with such shady tactics.
Your thoughts?
This actually seems like it’ll be a good watch. Aside from the obvious strained relations with Omarion, it’ll be interesting to see how they plan on making a comeback.
Any thoughts?
It appears yet another defunct group are jumping on the reality show bandwagon in hopes of resurrecting their careers – this time it’s B2K. Before I continue, I’m literally cracking up right now at the ‘realty show’ spelling – very professional lol. About the trailer, it was pretty interesting to see the guys back together, as well as the hinting at there still being unresolved issues with Omarion. Saying that, this kinda screams desperation to me; none of the group, aside from Omarion, have achieved any solo success. Hmmm…
Would you be checking for a B2K reunion?
About the concert, I thought she did ‘ok’. Call me a hater or whatever, but it lacked the energy of a show I would spend my money on. Still, I’m sure there are those who are feeling what she has to offer…
Salt is angry about being unappreciated when they were together and Pepa blames Salt for breaking up the group. Their lifestyles are also polar opposites: Salt has indeed found God and is living a quiet life in Long Island with her husband while Pepa is still the party girl and desperately wants to re-capture the glamour of Salt-N-Pepa’s glory days. Can they overcome their differences long enough to heal their friendship and perform again?
