The Soul Train Awards 2021 invites the masses aboard what is sure to be a must-see show.
Held at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem, the 50th annual extravaganza salutes to the soulful sounds that have defined the last year.
The show will also be toasting two names that have been dominating for decades – Maxwell and Ashanti, who are receiving the Legend Award and Lady of Soul honors respectively.

Dionne Warwick is proving everything is possible on her latest tune.
For, she has joined forces with acclaimed artist Chance The Rapper for a new duet entitled, ‘Nothing’s Impossible.’
The unlikely collaboration came about as the result of a connection the two artists made after Warwick tweeted about Chance The Rapper’s name back in December.
In the tweet, she said:
“Hi @chancetherapper. If you are very obviously a rapper why did you put it in your stage name? I cannot stop thinking about this.”
In January, she confirmed that she would be joining Chance in the studio for a charity single.
Tisha Campbell has re-teamed with longtime friend Tichina Arnold to host the Soul Train Awards 2021.
And this year’s instalment is extra special because it marks the 50th anniversary of the legendary show.
Filmed at the world-renowned Apollo Theater in Harlem, the ceremony will crown some of the most resonating releases of the last year. The show will also honor Maxwell and Ashanti with the Legend and Legend of Soul awards respectively.
