New Beyonce Album Set For 2010
Superstar Beyonce looks set to launch another assault on the charts in 2010 with the release her 4th solo album. During her ‘I Am…’ tour’s final show here in the UK today (at Nottingham’s Trent FM Arena), Bouncy proclaimed:
“… I’ll see you in a year with a new album”
This comes as hitmaker Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins, who she has collaborated with many times (see: ‘Lose My Breath’, ‘Deja Vu’ etc), recently posted on his Twitter:
“Yes Get Back out Here!! I mean in 1 month U write for Janet, then Jlo and then leave!! C’mon we got Beyoncé to do!!!”
While I’m sure many will be hollering about how Bouncy needs to sit down and whatnot, come this time next year it will actually have been 2 years since the release of ‘I Am…Sasha Fierce’ -apt enough time to drop a new record; a record which I, for one, am amped up for. As one of those who at times used to drop the ’she needs to chill for a bit’ line, it quickly became apparent that a Beyonce-less music scene just ain’t cutting it – at all (see all the dry award shows missing her showstopping performances). If she’s in her prime at present, then why sit it out? Work!
If there’s one hope I have for a new Beyonce record, it’s that it manages to deliver where it’s predecessors didn’t. I mean, I grew to like the ‘I Am…Sasha Fierce’ CD, yet would have been content with a single disc featuring the deluxe ‘Sasha’ side (including ‘Hello’, ‘Scared of Lonely’), with ‘Video Phone’ removed (not a fan), as well as ‘Ego’ (more befitting to the ‘B-Day’ LP). Joining the tracklist from the ‘I Am…’ side would have been ‘Halo’, ‘Broken Hearted Girl’, ‘Smash Into You’ and ‘If I Were A Boy’…and bingo, there’s a solid album LOL.
In any case, it’s great to see Darkchild involved with the project. Can’t wait to see what comes of their re-teaming, as well as the LP more generally.

Truthfully i am kinda excited, but i need bee to service an album either matching or surpassing the quality of music that she served on “dangerously in love”.
Truth is she is one of the best female performers, but her singles & videos from this area havent really won me over. hopefully with this new album, she can service up not only good music but good videos as well.

Her subsequent singles may be sub-par but her first singles are always enough to make you at least curious enough to buy her albums.
I am very curious to see what she comes up with!
Frankly, I find Mariah, Mary, Alicia, and Rihanna to be rather boring and their music is lacking.

She needs to breathe. Each new offering she has lacks any growth. She attempted that with the I Am…Sasha Fierce album (1st Disc), but didn’t even focus on much of those songs. Where does she have time to grow? Each album is a continuation of the previous. It’s getting tired, but whatever, more power to her.

You’d leave off That’s Why You’re Beautiful and Disappear but keep Broken-Hearted Girl? God, why are R&B fans so often afraid of boundary pushing? Those were the most exciting tracks on the album for me since they took Bey way out of her comfort zone, especially the former. But most were too close-minded to even get that. Destiny’s Child is NOT the most selling girl group. That would be the Spice Girls. As for most #1s, that title belongs to the Beattles followed by Mariah Carey.
I guess you are referring to Female with the Most Top 10 Hits this Decade. Yes, that title belongs to Ms. Knowles-Carter, but she hasn’t broken any records. She currently stands at 13 followed closely by Rihanna who we all know you Bey stans rag on all the time. Rih is at 12 with the current hit Roussian Roulette.
Yes, I give props were props are due, but the whole Top 10 this Decade is reaching.
So far every album does worse than the last in terms of sales. She has yet to out sell Destiny’s Child for that matter. I doubt she does anything new, interesting or different. Regardless of quality, she has her fans who will buy anything.
IMO, 2010/2011 will still be classic Bey: blonde weave, butte pads, ass shaking and coochie popping.

The difference between Alicia Keys and Beyonce that, Alicia actually take her fucking time to make a record and she makes good music! Beyonce however is so bent on staying in the high school lane that she scared to get her grown woman on! That last I AM record did not fail. In Germany it is still in the charts, for over a year now, and I think none of her prvious records did that. In the UK the album managed a high re entry in the to ten after almost a year, so how can anybody call that failure. Her music is not immature. I really don’t get why people always hate so much. That record was one of her most grown ups.

okay im sorry but … CIARA??? um i love ciara b/c her songs are the easiest to sing, but she is a failure, her cd flopped!!!! and plus she copies beyonce… i love the fact that u can b inspired by someone but not the same time their experiencing it.. the alter ego “super c” and the glove??? i understand they have stylist that may have them doing same thing, but if i were ciara i would have put a stop to it b/c it was bootlegg next to Beyonce’s… and ciara still opening acts for other artist.!!!. she has been out too long not to have her own tour!!! and she looks like every other pretty blk girl.. i was crazy over ciara but she let me down… thats y Bey on top of everything, she’s not dumb like everyone think she is…

I liked Beyonce first album” Dangerously In Love” it was really good I enjoyed the album from start to finish but the other 2 were kind of mediocre. It’s not just Beyonce crank out the albums every year other artists are doing the same. Don’t they know they can become over exposed. Back in day if an artist releases an album you would have to wait 3-5 years for the next one because of the fears of over exposer, nowadays probably 8 months to a year. I guess it’s to keep up with the demand of music, album sales are dropping so the record companies are trying to push artists to make more albums faster to make more money that’s how I see it anyways.

Lordy, all these Beyonce haters… I can’t believe it ! I’m happy for Beyonce && i think after this album comes out that Beyonce will settle down & finally doing what we all want her to do which is start having a family by having a baby. But i dont think she’s in a rush to do that… i wouldn’t be either… That’s alright Beyonce just keep going let the negative ppl and haters fall back. Ya’ll know that she’s QUEEN BEE ! SO YA’LL BETTA FALL BACK. She aint going nowhere.. and whn she does decide to have a baby ya’ll r really gonna miss her including myself bc i think once she has a child she won’t be coming out with new music in a long time… she’ll prob. be on the big screen doing more movies ! Why does everybody think someone is hating on beyonce. Now the girls careers is awesome dont get me wrong but just because youre tired of her music doesnt mean youre a hater .I for has supported beyonce ring tones and albums so , i dont see how you can hate and support somebody @ the same time. However, you can get tired of someone which i am of her. Isnt she worth like a gazillion dollars i hope she donates some of her record proceeds to homeless shelters or what not . Put some of that fame and fortune to use instead of just wanted to be on top . I honestly think she is kinda scared of sitting down for awhile i know she says she loves what she does and who wouldnt but damn everybody needs a break. dont break down like mariah carey now

I personally look forward to her new album, but she needs to do more original songs again, she should do a few hits with Michelle and Kelly and make some of her songs sound like ”Survivor” and ”Baby boy”, maybe I sound a bit old school but that’s just my opinion and how I feel about it.

SO it seems like there are some very aggitated people and happy people on here talking about Beyonce. I give the girl credit and I’m not mad at her for doing her thing but I got tired of Beyonce during Bday. She is EVERYWHERE. I mean do your thing girlfriend but give people a time to miss you and your music, allow for people to anticipate your album, and most importantly have more than 9 tracks on an album and do not release all of the tracks. I want to see something different. Collaboration with A. Keys (because track 10 on “Element of Freedom” is HOT), Eve, Trey Songz, etc. I moved to Houston and I just don’t even listen to the radio here. You can’t even enjoy a movie because she is in it. I must say with the acting, she needs to sit down because she can’t act, she over acts her parts and I don’t see a difference in ANY of the characters she plays.
Bottom line bring “Dangerously in Love” back with a new 2010 flavor and be unique.

i love beyonce, and i love all her music. but i hope she does not repeat any themes from her previous albums for her next album. i expect something different, and yes, better than her other music that she did before. there’s plenty themes out there, she just needs to work on something that suites her voice and style. i hope she listens to her fans views about how she can grow better in the music industry. shes truly my icon.
