The announcement came via Idol host Ryan Seacrest, who revealed that the hit show’s latest shake-up will see Lopez, and Aerosmith front-man Steve Tyler join sole original judge Randy Jackson on the panel.
Needless to say, this is the career resuscitation the mother of two could have only dreamed of just months ago. With a new label to boot (Def Jam), and now Idol, Ms. Lopez may be set to stage a major comeback. Watch this space…

Sorry JLO stans. Your girl can’t sing or act. She is a great dancer so SYTYCD would have been a better fit for her. All of her hits were mainly with JaRule or written by Diddy who made her a household name. People might tune in at first to see what it will be like but it will fall off after that.
