  9. Stoney-Brie September 11, 2010

i love this song.. but she cnt really handle the chorus like she does on the studio version when live.. but at least it’s not as bad as Rihanna…

  10. GangsterA September 11, 2010

@Eded nope it didn’t went top 10 it was either 13 or 14 but its still a big hit

  11. TJ September 11, 2010

totally off topic but, she bares a striking resemblance to Robin Givens
she should be considered to play her in the Mike Tyson biopic

I wish she would change her hairstyle.
she’s so underrated. she sounds okay but i’m pretty sure she was nervous. She has a really nice voice.

  13. T-vince September 11, 2010

her eyes are not white, i dont know why….. but she did good. maybe she should do a collabo with chris brown and things will skyroket from there for her

    go shontelle go

She started off kinda shaky but I think she did an overall good job. She’s Bajan and does pop oriented songs like Rihanna would do so I hope she can eventually break away from those comparisons at some point in her career. I like Rihanna and all, but I definitely think Shontelle can destroy her when it to her live performances. I will be picking up a copy of “No Gravity” in a couple weeks.

The song was at number 13 on the Billboard 100.

shes rih’s drill sargent thy are both was in the bajan special forces are something like that.

  21. lax September 11, 2010

  22. NUNYA September 11, 2010

I like the studio version, really dont like her performing this live, unless shes nervous. It dont sound the same.

  23. G.LaSalle September 11, 2010

I could tell she was a bit nervous, but she sounded pretty good. I can’t wait for the album. Also, I wish her label would push her more because she had a nice little hit they didn’t promote her.

  24. Kevin September 11, 2010

    WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than riri.

  25. boo hoo hoo September 11, 2010

  26. DION-ISH September 12, 2010

    @STONEY-BRIE @KEVIN

I LOVE THIS SONG. IT’S BEAUTIFUL. THIS IS GREAT FOR SHONTELLE BECAUSE NOT ONLY IS IT RE-INTRODUCING HER TO THE INDSUTRY, BUT IT’S A BALLAD AND NOT THE EURO TRASH HER FELLOW BAJAN IS ALWAYS RAMMING DOWN OUR THROATS. SHONTELLE ACTUALLY HAS A NICE VOICE AND CLEARLY HAS SO MUCH MORE SHE’S GOING TO DO. SHE CAME OUT THE SAME AS RIHANNA AND EVEN GOT DISCOVERED BY THE SAME EXECS. HER DEBUT WAS MORE ISLAND FLAVORED AND NOW SHE’S GONIG A MORE POP/R&B MAINSTREAM ROUTE. I CAN’T SAY THAT SHE DISSAPOINTED WITH THIS PERFORMANCE. IT WASN’T PERFECT BUT I GIVE IT AN 80 OUT OF 100 BECAUSE SHE DELIVERED EMOTION, SHE WAS ON KEY AND SHE CAN ACTUALLY SING. RIHANNA CAN’T DELIVER ANY SONGS LIKE THIS AT ALL. BEING THAT SHONTELLE IS SOMEONE WITH MODEL LOOKS IT’S GREAT TO SEE THAT SHE ALSO HAS A GOOD VOICE TO MATCH. “IMPOSSIBLE” IS A GREAT SONG. I WANT HER TO GET OUT OF THE RIHANNA LANE AND SMASH HER AND WITH HER GROWING BETTER AND BETTER WITH PERFORMING STARTING WITH PERFORMANCES LIKE THIS SHE’LL DO IT IN NO TIME. LET’S NOT FORGET, MONICA SWEPT BRANDY UNDER THE RUG AND BRANDY HAS A GREAT VOICE AND STILL HASN’T BEEN ABLE TO LAND A DECENT COMEBACK. SHONTELLE JUST NEEDS TO LEARN BETTER BREATH CONTROL AND SHE’LL BE AN AMAZING LIVE PERFORMER. OTHER THAN THAT I SAW NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS. ASIDE FROM THE PERFORMANCE HER EXTRA LONG PONYTAIL DID KIND OF MAKE ME SWITCH FOCUS FOR A SECOND BECAUSE IT WAS SO DAMN LARGE BUT I THINK THEY COULD HAVE DONE BETTER WITH STYLING. SHE HAS THE VOICE SO NOW ALL THAT’S NEEDED IS A LITTLE TWEEKING AND THE PACKAGE IS TOTALLY GREAT. WITH THAT BEING SAID SHONTELLE IS WELL ON HER WAY. CONGRATS ON GETTING A HIT RECORD WITH A BALLAD IN SUCH A DANCE-POP FILLED INDUSTRY. ON TOP OF THAT IT’S A MIX OF R&B AND POP. IT IS GREAT TO SEE HER GETTING SUCCESS WITHOUT FOLLOWING THE SAME FORMULA AS EVERYONE ELSE. SHE’S APPEALING TO EVERYBODY WHILE NOT BECOMING A SELL OUT LIKE A CERTAIN PUPPET THAT LET’S EVERYONE CONTROL HER EVERY MOVE. SHONTELLE ACTUALLY HAS A VOICE SO SHE CAN HAVE SAY SO. “SHONTELLE GON’ HAVE A REIGN THAT WON’T LET UP”. YEAH I SAID IT. NOW STANS, FANS, AND STALKERS GO AHEAD AND SAY WHAT YOU WANT BECAUSE YOU KNOW DEEP DOWN THE MICROPHONE MURDERER OF YOURS WHOSE IMAGE THAT YOU’RE ADDICTED TO VOICE ISN’T AS GOOD AS SHONTELLE’S. HER LIVE PERFORMANCE GAME ISN’T ANYWHERE NEAR SHONTELLE’S. HER SALES CERTAINLY AREN’T TRUMPING ANYONE’S BECAUSE AFTER FOUR YEARS AND FOUR ALBUMS SHE’S ONLY SOLD 5,563,000 APPROXIMATELY IN THE U.S. ALONE. THAT SUCKS BECAUSE BEYONCE HAS SOLD MORE THAN HALF OF THAT WITH ONE ALBUM ALONE. RIHANNA IS NOTHING BUT A SINGLES ARTIST. SHONTELLE HAS HAD HUGE SUCCES CONSIDERING HER FIRST SINGLE FROM HER SECOND ALBUM IS A BALLAD AND THAT WAS A HUGE RISK FOR HER TO TAKE BUT SHE DID IT BECAUSE SHE HAS REAL TALENT TO DO SO. NOT A GIMMICK LIKE THAT RUNWAY MODEL RIHANNA. SHE’S WACK. I’M TOTALLY TEAM SHONTELLE AND I’M LOVING HER SECOND SINGLE “PERFECT NIGHTMARE” IT’S AMAZING. IT STARTS OFF WITH A PIANO/BALLAD INTRO AND THEN IT MAKES YOU WANT TO DANCE TO IT OVER AND OVER. AGAIN. TEAM SHONTELLE!
