Not once did she yell. She’s actually makes great use of her diaphragm & great breath control. Because she has a robust voice doesn’t mean she is “yelling.” She did excellent on this, & I love her personality.

JHud was fabulous – no screaming, just beautiful tone and control of her vocals. She was very relaxed, funny & engaging with Jimmy & I’m glad the interview focused on something other than her weight loss.
Both JHud & Fanty give me chills because they learned how to sing in the church and always bring a soulful vibe to their performances which is sorely lacking in today’s r&b music.

She’s doing the same new millenium music biz shuffle as all the rest. Those fortunate enough to get booked everywhere SHOULD so that their music gets exposed to multiple audiences.
Let me tell you something. I saw the show last night and I broke into a jig. I mean she was simply just talking about the song that people would ask her to sing at funerals and he said let me hear it and she was just relaxed, no yelling, she just brought it home, the audience was going crazy, Jennifer is a true, true talent, those of you who claims that she yells and screams, are so accustomed to this water down talent that is out here that when you hear real, true singers you don’t know how to act. Jennifer’s voice is actually very versatile, she has a song on her album called GONE you would never in a million years know it was her, her voice is beautifu, it can be subtle and it can be a beast and she uses it all on her album. People please learn to start appreciating real music and real singing.

I dont appreciate Jennifer Hudson mocking His Eye is on the Sparrow. My stepson is the policeman killed in Kalamazoo, and that song was sung beautifully at his funeral. I love to listen to it. I thought she seemed very insensitive.
