WOW! This was such a good cover, the emotion in his voice. I did prefer Beyonce’s version but i’d love for them to perform it together. That would be EPIC!

  6. JJFan1814 November 7, 2011

  10. H-Town Chic*** November 7, 2011

Its was ok…didn’t like how he was dragging the song. I like Bey verson better but big ups on his writing ability love the lyrics to this song.

  11. Only Miklo November 7, 2011

I like the original better than Beyoncé version…….. He should have kept this for himself like he originally intended to do cause Beyoncés cover of this song is lacking actually. She doesnt even emote in the song. Great performance

  12. Love on top November 7, 2011

Is he like drake? Rapper “wanna be singer” ? I don’t get this guy

  13. mars November 7, 2011

    FLOP IS ON DEF JAM

  14. C November 7, 2011

Who said B don’t emote? She took this song to the next level. Tell me B don’t emote at the live show and on the record 4, then you are crazy, did you not hear her voice on the track? Only Miklo you must be pressed. Now I think Franks version of Thinking bout forever is hotter than Bridget Kellys, but saying B don’t emote, you must be thinking of BK as in Bridget not Beyonce.

  15. KD November 7, 2011

    WTF @ Only Miklo

you are fcuking nuts if you think that she did not emote this song well. The first time I heard it tears welled up in my eyes because I was so moved.

Bey’s version is the best, but big – ups to the pen behind the song.

  16. TWITTER.COM/ESSENCE_OF_SEAN November 7, 2011

I loved it. U can hear emotion and the loneliness in his voice.

    @Sam —

“Billy Ocean”..?! Ha!! When “Game” called for a “truce”, cessation of/for ALL hostilities, and Chris THEN backed off, “Billy Ocean” and “Tyler tha Gimmick” THEN got on stage, in front of a WHITE audience, and then said “F*** Chris Brown.” He’s a loudmouth and ultimately a cowardly(worldstarhiphhop’s cameras were rolling): he should’ve “made that U-turn” and deposited himself into “Urban Fade Folklore”..!!

**MORE IMPORTANT** Sam, ‘X-Factor U.K.’ is losing market share. And the trend OVER THE PAST YEAR (year-over-year) sees a continuing decline for X-Factor U.K. as the B**’s “Strictly Come Dancing” displays…(wait for it..) “MOTIVATION” when now eating into X-Factor’s market share. But don’t you take my word for it. Below are a few quotes from a U.K Media Site..

“However, the dance show did win a 46.5% share of the audience at its peak viewing time, while the X Factor gained a 45% share.”
“A spokesperson for the B** said: “We are delighted that Strictly was the most watched show in terms of audience share on Saturday night, with a peak audience of 10.5 million.””

this is good, but Bey’s cd version is PERFECT, that was one of the true standouts on the cd

  19. Galuda November 7, 2011

You Beyonce stans are a trip. Just cos the girl can riff and growl her way through a song does not equate to believable emotions at all.
Beyonce is an incredible technical singer but emoting is NOT her strong point.

  20. RICHNBLACK11 November 7, 2011

@gauda who the hell are u too say such a thing

  21. Yellow Gorillah November 7, 2011

    @ Yellow Gorillah

Stop hating. Beyoncé did a great job on ‘I Miss You’. So did Frank Ocean.

  33. MissImpartial November 7, 2011

I am not a huge Beyonce fan but she does have emotion when it comes to songs. Especially when it comes to songs such as If I were a boy, BTINH, Listen. Her voice and emotions are great on those tracks. I don’t know what else do you expect of her.

  34. lol November 7, 2011

    @X,Y,”and Z”
go lick Chris brown stale n** , Frank ocean is far better singer and writer deal with it!

and i agree with the majority Frank sings this better than B

  35. antertain November 7, 2011

Save your s*** for the toilet cus u have now been FLUSHED!

    #Dismissed

  36. Bey Fan… November 7, 2011

What kills me is when ppl compare acoustic live versions, to album cuts…..

I loved Frank version, but Bey KILLED it on the album, and Bey would KILL it even harded if she did an acoustic live version..

No one is taking anything away from Frank, he great talent. But lets not start hating on Bey…

  37. Dev November 7, 2011

I loved Frank’s nostalgia/ultra but everything he’s done after that is lacklustre and his voice is just blah!
Although i’m not a Beyonce fan her version is much better.

It’s kinda like JoJo singing Drakes Marvin’s room…. much better

  38. AuntieJackie November 7, 2011

I love this version! It’s the first time I’ve ever heard him sound decent–but I think it’s because that mike is heavily echoed. Anyway, I like the so, ethereal version that’s stripped down. Beyonce is great, and I’d like to hear her sing it this way too.

  39. danny b November 7, 2011

    @LOVE ON TOP

Frank Ocean is a singer. Not a rapper.

    Youre welcome.

  40. Vegas Girl November 7, 2011

I never heard Beyonce’s version so I can’t compare. I guess he did ok, I don’t think he “killed” it like some are saying. Sometimes i wonder if people really feel the way they say on here or are they just saying s*** to be saying s***.

He has an average voice and thus far I really haven’t heard vocals that blow me away. To me he sounds like Drake and Omarion mashed together vocally. I don’t follow him so maybe I will attempt to listen to more of his stuff and see if my opinion changes.

  41. BEYONCE IS FADING CHECK BILLBOARD CHARTS. November 7, 2011

FRANK OCEAN WOULD BE HOT IF HE WAS ON ANOTHER LABEL. BEYONCE NEVER WRITES HER SONGS AND SHE STEALS DANCE MOVES AND SONGS OFF YOUTUBE.

  42. BEYONCE IS FADING CHECK BILLBOARD CHARTS. November 7, 2011

LOL BEYONCE SINGS WITHOUT SOUL SHE GROWLS TO PROVE HER POINT.

  43. perhaps November 7, 2011

Love it, LOVE IT! I can feel it.

  44. TheMan4u November 7, 2011

people love to say anything against bey, even if you’ve never heard her version this performance was just ok and the only reason the crowd is reacting the way they are because they obviously love bey’s version, how else would they have known the words?

  45. ANTHONY November 7, 2011

remember he wrote the song!! so can do what he want 2 do 2 the song & sing it how he wants

  46. mobwife November 7, 2011

*YAWN* leave it to Bey buddy! He really is an unattractive thing isn’t he? Talking smack looking jacked! Boy bye….

I’m confused though, with all the buzz and crap given to him why hasn’t he seen more success and industry recognition? Oh well “God don’t like ugly” and Lawd knows that applies to him in spades!!

  47. mobwife November 7, 2011

    @lol

LMAO I see you are as DELUSIONAL AS EVER! Poor ‘thang’! A** Ocean looks and sounds grotesque stop lying. Beyonce sang this song beautifully!

  48. Expensive Hooker November 7, 2011

You guys, the year is 2011. Unless you’re comparing Beyonce’s vocals to Whitney, Mariah, Celine, & even the greats before them, there is no one in the game you can compare her to. She has been killing it in the 90’s. & She has been killing it in the 00’s. Why are people still arguing that? There is no other R&B or Pop artist that is on Beyonce’s lane. She is absolutely flawless.

Anyways, this is my all-time favorite song from “4”. It’s just so beautiful & mesmerizing yet so simple & effective. I knew it was written & produced by Frank Ocean but of course I prefer Queen B’s version a lot more. However, this is the original & I did enjoy his.

  49. Arob November 7, 2011

I love this new sound from The weekend, Frank Ocean, and Drake. I guess it has a very Sade sound to it, Dope. Beyonce has to release this.

  50. Another Star Will Be Born November 7, 2011

Its always been my favorite song. Please Sit Yall Mainjy Ass Down Somewhere!!!! Anyone That Don’t Respect Beyonce’s Greatness Is A Non-Mother-F*****-Factor!!!

  52. jamir21 November 7, 2011

I really love “I Miss You”.

  53. X,Y,”and Z” November 7, 2011

(Meh.. These gays.. They travel in “pairs” and are the absolutely worst house guests: you can never get them out your bathroom, and NEVER know when to leave!!)

@ANTERTAIN re: 12:30 pm and LOL re: 12:18 pm —

    “Flushed..?!” “Lick stale nuts”..?! <–O~o

You gays trouble me, especially YOU, Antertain! I KNEW once I'd spoke on/about "your fave", the object of your "pathological female-self-projection fantasies", you'd respond with your usual dry, witless, crusty, "Macumba-love scrotum-succulent-lip lisped" retort!

..Yes, absolutely: "the gays" scare me. I dread coming home to find my house "glitter bombed" with "paw marks" then left on the lawn. And if that's not the worst, then there's the traumatized neighbors who had to witness the impromptu "Drag Ball" – complete with wig/weave lacefront fabulosity, and "skid-marks-throated karaoke" renditions of Kelly Rowland, Tony Braxton's now-decades-past mediocrity!

Yes, absolutely: a spectacle I can do without, and one no God-fearing heterosexual should dare encounter!

    X,Y,"and Z" — OUT..!

  54. Betty November 7, 2011

    Damn he’s cute!

  55. Jessica November 7, 2011

@X,Y,Z. : WHAT DOES KELLY ROWLAND AND TONI BRAXTON HAVE TO DO WITH FRANK OCEAN??? UR ON SERIOUS CRACK FOR REAL!!!! #SHAMEFUL. As I said before, CB, KELLY IS NOT CARING FOR YOUR ASS. FOOL!!!!

I think Frank Ocean is a better songwriter than a performer, but his cover was not bad, he can sing, so no hate there.

  56. X,Y,”and Z” November 7, 2011

    @Jessica re: 6:37 pm —

“30-something-year-old Kelly Rowland” and “Lupus-Bigface 40-something-year-old Tony Braxton” are Antertain’s absolute favorites. If there ever was a case of/for “self-image projection”, then he’d be a text book example. It’s HE who the women of his..”envy” should fear!

Jessica, I want nothing more than to understand you. I really do! I’d like to ask you a question, or two..

1.) Are you a “Rowdog”? If so, why?
2.) Are you really black, and if so, are you a male, or really a female?
3.) Don’t you think it’s creepy when black gay men then self–project their troubled self-images upon women who they so… vociferously adore? ..Now, mind you, these are women who have said, as in the case of 30-something-year-old Kelly Rowland: “Orlando Bloom, and (White/European) men who look like him, are THE most beautiful(of all men).”

..I mean, there’s something deeply troubling when someone dismisses, if not whole-cut rejects you, and you then STILL support them “to the ends of the earth”; yes?
..And speaking of such (and your comments regarding my support of/of CBreezy), listen, my “days” as member of “Team-Breezy” is now surely numbered. Chris, when he allowed Kelly Rowland to tour with him, pretty much destroyed any hopes of him reaching out to the young HETEROSEXUAL black men of the world; they rioted in The U.K./France/Jamaica, and here in the U.S.! They needed a “figurehead”, of sorts. They needed ANOTHER young black man they-themselves can relate to/with. I’d envisioned, and my plan was to make Chris JUST that.

..I(we heterosexual black men..) got sold-out…!! Kelly Rowland has done what near-three years of being “banned, censored, and reviled” could not do. I’d sacrificed my pride and dignity being a “good soldier”. And now, for what..?? To be sold-out..?!

..NOT TO WORRY: you’ll now see ‘less and less’ of me. BUT, if you’d like to “accelerate” the process, have Chris take to Twitter and then announce: “X,Y,”and Z” I no longer want you on my team!!” I’ll then just put my tail between my legs, pack my eggs and make my way out the door. TRUST, they’ll then be no “hard” feelings. How can there be after I’ve fought so hard, leaving blood, sweat, tears and my dignity upon these blogs? There won’t.. If you knew me, you’d have ALREADY knew that I live by a code!!

    X,Y,”and Z”

  57. nicegirl November 7, 2011

I like Frank Ocean’s and Bey’s versions of this song. It’s actually one of my fave songs off 4, as well as I Was Here, 1+1, I Care, Love On Top, Rather Die Young and Dance For U.

  58. Bey’knight November 7, 2011

  59. Flashing Green November 7, 2011

  64. X,Y,”and Z” November 8, 2011

    @Jessica re: 9:33 pm —

    For someone(me) who:

    1.) Is a “dumbass” .
    2.) Has a “thick skull”.
    3.) Is “stupid”.
    4.) “Needs help”.
5.) (is in need of ..) “Reading an educational book”.
    6.) Is “Idiotic”.
7.) Is “obsessed with people (CB and Kelly Rowland) who don’t give a s*** about me”..

You sure are, yourself, preoccupied, consumed, if not totally obsessed with me. This’ll be your second reply to me on this tread. This post/thread not withstanding – you’ve always gone out of your “educated” way to “properly” scold and rebuke me. But why?

..Jessica, I know why. You see, there IS some truth to what I’m saying. This is why you – yourself “made that U-Turn”, and deviated far out your way to now “come for” me.

But as I’ve said, Jessica, if you would like to NOT see me on these blogs again, all you need do is to contact Kelly Rowland and have her NEW best friend, Chris Brown, then take to HIS Twitter and then announce: “X,Y,”and Z” I now longer want you on ‘Team-Breezy’!” ..”POOF”, that’s all it’ll take: no more X,Y,”and Z”..

    X,Y,”and Z” — OUT..!!

Physiotherapy: Physical treatment through appropriate exercises for improving
posture and muscle tone provide lasting relief. While lots of people believe
standing for a long causes soreness and discomfort, this is generally the feeling of sore muscles.
That happens because these conditions often modify the central nervous system, containing the
vital nerve roots that send pain signals for a brain.
    3) Panchakarma treatments works well for relieving backache and correcting abnormalities through which organic oils and herbs are employed.
