Despite being released 57 weeks ago, Adele’s ’21‘ is the UK’s #1, following her performance at the 2012 Brit Awards last week.

The LP, which has now sold over 18 million copies worldwide, rose by two spots this week, forcing Emeli Sande’s ‘Our Version Of Event‘s to #2, and Lana Del Rey‘s ‘Born To Die‘ to #4.

Elsewhere, Whitney’s Houston‘s ‘The Essential‘  rises to #17 after spending last week at #40, placing it one spot above Rihanna‘s ‘Talk That Talk’ and two places above ‘Heaven’ by Rebecca Ferguson.

Pink Friday‘ by Nicki Minaj holds court at #39, three spots lower than last week, while Beyonce‘s ‘4‘ drops 12 spots to #41, 4 places below Lady GaGa‘s ‘Born This Way’.

On a singles front, Rita Ora & DJ Fresh sit pretty at #3 with ‘Hot Right Now‘ after spending last week at #1.

Cant stand this b****!!! Completely overrated. Compare her voice to chics in the 80’s and 90’s and she’s average at best. What do peeps see in her, really?? She should lose 50 lbs for starters. Then maybe she can do more than just stand and do nothing. S***, we already have someone who stands there and do nothing her whole career – Mariah Carey. Next.

Lol at Man, all that hate isn’t good for you.

Wow…Adele won’t need to make another album for 5 years with the success this one is having. Hell her having a new album would be considered a form of assault at this point, she needs to leave the others SOME space on the charts.

Congrats to Adele. I’m still not sure exactly what ALL this hype is about…she has a nice voice & her music is pleasant, but she hasn’t really given me anything I haven’t seen in other musicians (multiple musicians) so all of this hype is kind of surprising, but I can’t knock the girl. All the best.
