*******

Yes, yes, and yes! This is just what the career Dr ordered. Perhaps after reminding the masses about her catalogue of hits, she’ll be in a position to not just dance again, but sell albums again.

One can’t but tip their wig to Team J.Lo. They keep it mo-ving. Indeed, between Idol, the award show performances, tours, endorsements, and now this greatest hits LP, we’d bet good money on the masses forgetting that her last LP, ‘Love?‘, tanked. And , without a shadow of doubt, that’s the way it should be for an artist and brand of her caliber. We just wish more of her contemporaries (see: Janet Jackson) would take note and do the same, as opposed to “sitting out” the last years of their bodies being able to do what they are renown for doing on stage.

    J Lo is a LEGEND!

    I really respect her!

    • Joe June 26, 2012

When were your born? 20 years in the industry and she has never won a Grammy award, an Oscar award, while other person in the industry with that many years in the business have multiple awards? Failure is the only other word that describe Jlo.

      • idextaD June 28, 2012

JLO never & still does NOT need to win a grammy oscar etc to be recognized as an amazing performer she’s sold over 60 million records has broken records many of these artist who have won the top awards. she is an LEGEND & will remain that no matter what she does ps for someone whose a failure many people are going out their way to work with her.

  2. POP ROYALTY ( Révolution) June 25, 2012

yes , J.LO , yes yes and Yes , those are all Hits. but i just don’t like that they put the “featuring … / remix” version of every song , i want JLO alone …

Big fans like me have all of those ” Ha!” , so …. maybe i will pick me the deluxe edition just to support the hottest mom in the music industry. 😀

this year is all Hers , she’s Winning in every possible field.

    XD.

Side Note to our pressed queen : @Sam , dear , you are a kelly roland stan , you are like the last one on earth to talk about folks who shift albums , Kelly is there for like 15 years and her last album tanked to the point it hit asthenosphere 2 weeks after it got released despite being in x-factor and s*** ….. , at least J.Lo can get $$ from other sources and be on Forbes , something your 15 years experienced fav can’t have in the near future , truth hurts , huh ? 😉

  5. RYK101 June 25, 2012

    YESS and NO!

LMAO i love me some JLo i was one of the few who bought Love? (don’t judge me, i love that album) but this tracklist is a no-no

I’m Into You? Really? That song FLOPPED
Also I want the original version of Ain’t it funny, and where is Play? Play deserves to be there over Do It Well!

    other than that it’s fine
well i would change the order but anyway

    • Guest June 25, 2012

      I love Love? too!! haha

    • number1k9 June 26, 2012

I didn’t buy Love? but heard it, and was my favorite album from 2011, totally slept on. Such a shame!

All songs on it I like except maybe “Vilian” sorta annoys me…

  6. JJFan1814 June 25, 2012

Eh….Rihanna has more hits so early in her career that would swallow J.Lo’s “Hits” discography.

And whoever were to deny this would just be f****** delusional.

  7. chase June 25, 2012

good JLO i love her happy she is a LEGEND

  8. YOOSONDALOOSE June 25, 2012

    What!!!!!! this tracklist is horrible!
    Where is:

    No Me Ames
    Aint It Funny
    Play
    Im Real
    Papi
    I’m Gonna Be Alright
    Im Glad
    Hold It Don’t Drop It
    Hold You Down
    Let’s Get Loud
    Baby I Love U!
    Louboutins

    ???????

    • Curt June 25, 2012

      1. The songs on the tracklist are actually her biggest hits (either on charts or by sales)

      2. How will the 12 songs you listed fit on the album with the 15 actual hits listed?

      3. FIVE of the songs you listed were actually chart failures… and “Let’s Get Loud” is on the tracklist. (check the Deluxe Edition).

Go make yourself a playlist if you want to listen to the album tracks with videos… Bye

  12. kigian June 25, 2012

    PLAY????
and she could have put “follow the leader” of Wisin and Yandel too
    :-/

  13. S****** Blonde June 25, 2012

I love the tracklist but where is “No Me Ames”, “Play” and “I’m Real”, anyway she looks great in the cover.

  14. Lenny June 25, 2012

Play is my fav J.Lo song ever. Where is it? How this is possible? Let’s Get Loud was smash in Europe years ago.

  15. Robot June 25, 2012

PLAY is also my favorite song! Maybe there is something going on with the rights of this track because she also doesn’t perform this song on her tour.

    C’MON JENNY! WE WANT PLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

  16. Ray June 25, 2012

Really thrilled when I read she is finally going to release a ‘best of’.
    But what a disappointing tracklist!

Especially missing out on Ain’t It Funny and its video!

  17. Jayla June 25, 2012

    Where is “I’m Glad”? !!!!!

  18. 80sBaby June 25, 2012

This is a great idea, and I hope it does well for her. I actually like a lot of her older songs, I’m Real, Love Don’t Cost a Thing, Jenny From the Block, Feelin So Good, All My Love, and Ain’t it Funny. I might pick this one up.

Speaking of Janet, I wonder if she has a greatest hits album, if Again, Doesn’t really matter, Love would never do without you, I get so lonely, Scream, If, Control, etc. are all on one album, I’m buying it today.

    • number1k9 June 26, 2012

Janet has a few Greatest Hits albums think one released in the 90s and another in the 2000s. . .

That said both have great discographies! ! !

  19. Um OK June 25, 2012

The album cover SLAYS but nothing else. I was expecting flawless track selections from this 10 years plus career but several of her hits are missing & I could do without Lil Wayne & Flo Rida features when pivotal songs in her catalog are missing like Gonna Be Alright or I’m Glad or Play or No Me Ames and so many others. Simply put I could do a better job at selecting & arranging a greatist hits for JLO on my Spotify then what the “professionals” came up with.

  20. GURL June 25, 2012

It’s nice that she is releasing a Greatest Hits collection and all, but some songs are missing! No point in buying this if you have her whole catalogue already! Although it would make perfect sense to cop this if the older songs are remastered. Some remasterings are not so good at all, oh well.

  21. mr.m June 25, 2012

PLAY is of the songs that is TIMELESS .. it’s SO fresh!!
It could be a bigger hit NOW more than 2001 .. FOR REAL J.Lo???
Play, I’m Glad, Gonna be alright , SHOULD be on her CD .. otherwise BYE

    • number1k9 June 26, 2012

I agree, “Play” def does fit the current Electronic Dance Pop music. Sorta liek Britney and her “Toxic.”

That said, it wasn’t a big big J.Lo hit. “All I Have” should be on the standard edition IMO.

  22. TheMusicProphet June 25, 2012

This is how the tracklisting should go for this …. honestly, the one they’ve picked is just “ok” at best …. there’s too much missing …. Here’s what you should see.

    1. Dance Again
    2. On The Floor (Feat. Pitbill)
    3. Papi
    4. Love Don’t Cost a Thing
    5. Play
    6. If U Had My Love
    7. Waiting For Tonight
    8. Jenny From The Block
    9. All I Have (Feat. LL Cool J)
    10. I”m Glad
    12. Ain’t It Funny (Remix)
    13. I’m Real (Murder Remix)
    14. Let’s Get Loud
    15. Feelin’ So Good
    16. Get Right (Hip-Hop Remix)
    17. Goin In (Feat. Flo Rida)

I would consider the possibility of ‘I’m Into You’, but ‘Papi’ faired better on the club charts …. I would also like to see ‘Louboutins’ as a bonus cut …. and maybe the Sack international remix of ‘Play’ …. Let’s get them beats on there!

  23. random June 25, 2012

HAHA its so funny to me how jennifer lopez with 8 (counting jlo the remixes cuz that was her biggest hit cd) albums has only 10 top 10 hits while beyonce (who started her solo career later) with only 4 albums has 14 top 10 hits not mentioning destinys child ( combined with dc3 shes got 24…count em). plus jlo’s got 2 #1 albums while beyonces got 4 consecutive!!! beyonce shud hav a greatest hits (shes already got 1 with dc3!)

  24. Virtuoso Intellect June 26, 2012

The tracklistkng just looks very off-putting. I wouldnt buy that.

    • Virtuoso Intellect June 26, 2012

And the cover is too cheap-looking. If there was no time for a photoshoot. How about a collage of her album covers or animated or painting Jlo

  25. mido June 27, 2012

wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! i really admire this queen of pop . f*** rihanna f*** beyonce . the world is owned by the one and only JLO . good track listing but i really like im gonna be alright ( ft nas) this should have been selected

  26. _JumpingTrains June 28, 2012

It’s clearly missing the song, “I’m Glad.” Loved that song and the VIDEO! But, I forget how many hits J.Lo has had.

  27. idextaD June 28, 2012

OMGEEEE can’t wait such an amazing performer !
