It’s a “vocals” lover’s dream. Jessie J and Brandy are in talks to team up for a new song on the British singer’s sophomore album.

The news came during The Voice UK star’s interview with Kiss FM this morning; her stop there was in support of blazing new single ‘Wild’.
When quizzed by hosts Ricky & Melvin about who else will feature on her upcoming album beyond ‘Wild’ guests Big Sean and Dizzee Rascal, the 24-year-old coyly revealed that advanced preparation is underway for a duet with The Vocal Bible.
She told the show: “I have a song…it’s not happened yet…but if I say it, maybe it will definitely (make the cut). A duet with Brandy that she’s really up for singing“.
When the clearly excited hosts salivated at the prospect of the said song’s “harmonies”, J joked “I’ll have to go back in and warble some more because she’s a perfectionist. She’s unreal”.

Brandy is nobody’s vocal bible,there are far too many vocalist who sing better than her and Jessie J is one of them. Having a great tone and doing runs doesn’t make you a vocal bible. There are females and males that are fans of brandy that would out sing her without trying.
I love brandy from the self titled album-2/11 and all albums legally purchased and I will continue to support her.
She makes great albums but being called a vocal bible is an overstatement. Christina,Beyonce,Jazmine,Fantasia,Jennifer Hud,Tamia,Monica,Jill Scott,Ledisi,Jessie J,Kierra Sheard and the list goes on..all are better singers than brandy is.
