‘Beyonce‘ is the gift that just keeps on giving.

After surpassing sales of 1 million units in its opening week, Beyonce‘s chart-shocking new album has gone on to surpass global sales of 3 million units within the last five months, much to the delight of her label Columbia Records.

Today, as if the profit it helped them to secure wasn’t enough to give them cause to ‘Party‘, the LP has seen them score an enviable spot on Fast Company‘s list of “The World’s Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Music.”

Find out how below…

Hits Daily Double reports:

“Columbia has earned the #3 spot—the highest of any label—on Fast Company‘s list of “The World’s Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Music.” The mag singles out the success of Beyoncé’s late-2013 sneak attack and the innovative Daft Punk rollout among the label’s signal achievements, hailing the House of RobStringer “for staying up all night.”

    • Benji April 9, 2014

How is it fake tea. She sold 1 million on Itunes first weak. Deal.

      • Benji April 9, 2014

Im on my phone go google. How much do you think she sold ww if she sold 990 in the US alone?

      • whoiam April 10, 2014

Why do people make things up, when this info was big news in all music publication. Beyonce did not sell 1 million copies in her 1st week sales. She sold 617k in USA & 829k worldwide. She probably would of sold over a million if she had a full weeks sale but her album were dropped during the week not at the atart.

Yes! So amazing to see someone celebrate them both and not pit them against each other. at the end of the day they are both winning in their own right and women of color.

When BeyBonic sells what Adele did with 21, we will talk.

This basically shows how sad a state the music industry is in at this current time when an album that barely pushes 3 million copies worldwide is considered a financial success.

Beyonce did not sell 1 million copies in the first week sales worldwide, she probably would of if she had a full week of sales. There were only 4 albums released in 2013 that sold over 1 million copies worldwide in their 1st week & that was Justin Timberlake 1.2m, Eminem 1.2m,One Direction 1.2m & Daft Punk 1m. Beyonce DID NOT sell 1m copies in her first week.
