The Soul Train Awards Were Actually Watchable This Year.
    All The Performances Were Great.

Its a shame Chris Brown, Rihanna, Beyonce, Nicki, Drake feel they are ABOVE the soul train music awards, the show was Incredible and it would be nice if they supported it.

But, on there way down, i’m sure they will attend then.

But again, the show was for REAL TALENT not smoke and mirrors talent.

      • What now November 30, 2015

Not a fan of Chrissy, but in all fairness, he did perform just last year at the Soul Train Awards.

  2. King November 29, 2015

This was the best award show I’ve seen in a while!

  3. pat November 30, 2015

A shame the industry doesn’t support this talent. Best show all year

  4. Amazon Chanteur November 30, 2015

Better singers, better performers, and overall better talent than all mainstream award shows. Glad they gave rap performers seats and focused on the r&b/soul acts only.

  5. Lmfao_Hoe November 30, 2015

Smh and they say R&B / soul including Rap /HipHop is dead. No its alive and well (underground/ underrated) however on a mainstream stand point it’s on life-support thanks to the gimmicks and the clowns behind the industry of today. Soul Train always knew how to bring it. Loved me so Badu, Babyface, Jaszmine, ect. too ♡

  6. LB November 30, 2015

  7. Iamdiego November 30, 2015

Everybody I saw did great but it’s something about miss Sullivan that gave me chills!!

  8. Tyler Makiavelli November 30, 2015

The BET And Soul Train Awards have really been stepping their game up as of lately. Some of the best performances HANDS DOWN.

  9. MUSICHEAD November 30, 2015

This was the best award show of the year!

Erykah Badu was an outstanding host. That Iggy shade was hilarious and so was the Tyrone skit lol.

Tyrese and Fantasia killed their performances.

Brandy was amazing as always. I just wish her performance was longer.

    Overall, great show! Bravo!!!

This was truly the SOULtrain awards. A must see, start to finish! They brought it! I loved Brandy of course. Her voice is flawless as usual and she was strutting it on stage. Life was given after Ms.Badu shaded iggy of filth with a smooth ass one liner LmaOoooo! !! (Much needed plus some) As for Ms.Fantasia, girl was epic. I think when Baby face got up, she did not realize her own impact lpl cuz she was looking back like.. lol. And then the flex in (shoop) she did with her shoulder made me jump. Go Tasia! And kellz man, lol. Dude voice was on fleek as always but the wardrobe wasn’t the business. O yea, and the Cypher, “The soul Cypher” was so creative! I really enjoyed that piece.

Quick ? … Why was y Monica there promoting her new album? Does she even care! I give up!

    • BeyHive November 30, 2015

Ugh, relax, Monica’s doing just fine. If she didn’t care, she wouldn’t be on tour. I’ll be purchasing her album by the way, she’s a true talent with amazing vocals.

  12. BeyHive November 30, 2015

Loved it, the Soul Train awards really stepped up this year.

  19. Royalkev November 30, 2015

The Soul Train Awards was awesome this year! There always has been (and always will be) so much talent to explore in R&B. Brandy always give me so much energy when she performs, she did a great job! Boys II Men, R. Kelly, Tyrese, Tevin, EryKah Badu, Jill Scott still sound amazing live! This show couldn’t be more entertaining!

  20. DA Realest November 30, 2015

That award show was everything last night. Very good from start to finish. That Jasmine Sullivan, Tasia, Brandy, Jill Scott, Boys 2 Men, Tevin, R. Kelly, Tyrese, Baby Face, Jeremiah, Erica Campbell, Bobby Brown, etc….. Yes Yes Yes.

  21. Dora November 30, 2015

Where was Slayara? She woulda turn that show out

  22. Bruce November 30, 2015

Soul Train — Thank you for producing a QUALITY live show. The performances BOYZ II MEN and Babyface, Brandy, Fantasia, After 7 very quality performances.

It was so well put together.

Jill SCott needs to stop playing with vocals and do the HE LOVES ME we are all waiting for. Hit them notes and stop being shy vocally. She always holds back.

  23. MUSICHEAD November 30, 2015

Fantasia killed Superwoman but I would have preferred for Monica to sing Exhale (Shoop, Shoop). Monica would have embodied Whitney more.
