I actually have to agree. I couldn’t listen to the album due to the dated europop sound (apart from a few songs) and then again she only had one ballad.
I have to say that this show was fantastic and reminded me of why i voted for her on xfactor several times.
It’s funny because Heartbreak on Hold would’ve been a fantastic ballad, and some of the songs could’ve been reworked to a r&b/pop sound.
This is not the album for the U.S, i’ll wait for the next album.
Luckily that is not the case, if she had 100% backing and the singles flopped then yes, but Elephant did exceptionally well against all the odds and deputed at no 3 on the UK charts, no 1 on the UK dance chart, no 2 on the Scottish Chart and no 7 on the Irish chart The fault doesn’t lay with Alexandra but elsewhere. The singles are not reaching the heights they would have reached had they been supported by certain radio stations who wil not be named. But they know who they are.
AMAZING…AND IN PERSON MORE AMAZING….I’m going 2 support Alexandra all the way… she is blessed with such a beautiful voice- I hope she gets far with it xxx
She really is a fantastic live singer, I remember her from the X-Factor – one of the very rare talents to come out of that show. Its a shame some of the songs she gets given are not worthy of her voice, I’d like to hear more ballads from her and less europop – she has a better voice than Leona in my opinion. Although – unpopular opinion alert – I rather liked Elephant. I didn’t like it at all first time I heard it but it really grew on me ;o)

Terrible terrible album. Lacks in personality and emotion and just feels really cheap, half-assed attempt at a europop dance album.
This set makes up that. Absolutely stunning. Should stick to acoustic stuff. Blown away. So powerful. Raw. Full of emotion. Well done Alex.

Feel quite sorry now that it seems her career is on a downfall. She deserves better

Her acoustic performance is more impressive. Too bad that’s not on the album.
