The video for Britney Spears’ new single ‘Womanizer’ made its much hyped debut on ABCs 20/20 a few hours ago and it was worth all of it (the hype, that is) – well mostly. Directed by previous Britney collaborator Joseph Khan, the video is a big budget, special effect heavy affair, which truly rings in the return of the ‘old’ Britney. That said, it would have been great to see some more emphasis on the choreography – allowing us to see if Ms. Spears still has ‘it’ in that department. Still, I doubt this matters, with the song burring up the digital charts upon its release this week and Britney’s willingness with the promotion of the project, this looks like it’ll be B-I-G.

I agree with some of the comments. It’s the same old stuff from before. Nothing exciting. I didn’t like the song initially and still don’t, but I thought the video would compliment it better but it didn’t. It was all over the place and the naked scene was seemed out of place and desperate. She should have been dancing her ass off with some fresh moves to make up for this medicore song, but I’m sure people will like this since it seems like she’s back to normal. I’m happy for her in that aspect.
