    THE KING OF POP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. SupaCi December 4, 2010

Hollywood Tonight does NOT sound like Michael. That voice had too much depth. Michael could go end, but his voice didn’t have any bass and depth to it.

Some of the songs are him tho.

  3. SupaCi December 4, 2010

    *go deep

  4. MissImpartial December 4, 2010

I think MJ real fans should not buy anything that is now being released by any outlet as these opportunities have not being given to him while he was still alive. They did not want to be associated with him and did not want to help him to come out his financial troubles. And all of a sudden they all want to be part of the cash that is being generated from his death.

  5. SAM December 4, 2010

    AMAZING!!

I cannot wait to get this album. Michael will make history again on December 14th:

WHEN Michael Jackson’s new album “MICHAEL” becomes NUMBER 1, MJ will be the ONLY ARTIST with all number 1 albums for 5 CONSECUTIVE DECADES.

  6. matthew December 4, 2010

THIS ALBUM SUCKS. How dare SONY tarnish his name with this RUBISH after his death. JANET!!

  7. matthew December 4, 2010

I do HOWEVER absolutley love the cover.

  8. Gio December 4, 2010

Most of the songs are not the standard of Michael, and pretty much all of them are over produced.

The only ones I’m intrigued about listening to are “Another Day” and “Behind The Mask”, although pretty much both are ruined by crappy production, stuffing it with as many beats and sound bytes as possible. They only reason I like these as the vocals seem pretty much finished.

Id rather Sony just release the demo’s of each era, Off the Wall, Thriller, Bad etc…… and just touch up the production slightly, instead they have created cash in attempts at MJ songs.

  9. RihannaForever December 4, 2010

“Hollywood Tonight”, “Monster”, and “Breaking News” are NOT MJ.

“Keep Your Head Up”, “Behind the Mask”, and “Much Too Soon” kind of sound like him though I know the latter two are his vocals since they were recorded for Thriller.

I love the cover, but I’m not supporting ANY of his posthumous releases. Michael did NOT want any of the material he was working on to be released and the fact that they’re taking some of his demos and using other people to record them for MONEY, which is really what these posthumous releases are about is SAD.

And like @MissImpartial said, Sony didn’t want anything to do with Jackson until now. Just sad. NOT buying ANYTHING, and no other MJ fans should. This is disrespectful to say the least.

  10. sonofbaldwin December 4, 2010

These songs are colossally BAD. Way to ruin Michael’s legacy by releasing this poorly produced, innocuous garbage.

    Shameful.

  11. RihannaForever December 4, 2010

    @SonofBaldwin
RIGHT!?!? Michael did NOT want these DEMOS released, and then Sony rushes the whole thing for money by putting horrible production to the songs.

I’m not buying it for two reasons:
    1. The music isn’t great.
    2. It’s not him for most of the songs.
    3. He didn’t want this released.

  12. UGh December 4, 2010

SMDH…..sigh i love me some MJ i really do but i am not interested in this album at all.

This is not how MJ would have put it together. ugh, i don’t even know what to say. i’m just lost for words

  13. Kim December 4, 2010

The songs are AMAZING…Better than the rubbish on the radio now.

Hollywood Tonight, Breaking News, Behind the mask…Much too soon=GEMS. GEMS. GEMS.

I cannot wait for this album.

WHEN Michael Jackson’s new album “MICHAEL” becomes NUMBER 1, MJ will be the ONLY ARTIST with all number 1 albums for 5 CONSECUTIVE DECADES.

  16. RihannaForever December 4, 2010

    @Sam
So you want to “support” MJ by buying songs he didn’t want to be released?

  17. sonofbaldwin December 4, 2010

@Sam: You can’t be serious. I’m not a fan of anything being played on the radio today, but I’m sorry: Those snippets SUCKED royally. Those songs are BAD–and not in the good way.

    Poor Michael!

  18. DIDJAMAL December 4, 2010

FAKE ALBUM IS NOT JACKON SINGS …. SONY IS A FAKER

  19. Trey S December 4, 2010

I was extremely against this album coming now…and i still think thats not his voice (except hold my hand), but damn people the tracks are good dont hate because he’s dead

  20. Stars December 4, 2010

This is gonna be micheal jackons best ever album.. its gonna be the best selling album ever… its gonna sell like 18 million in its first week in america omg omg someone calm me down with cold water… this makes me wet

  21. DUNKFAN December 4, 2010

MJ FANS Once you don’t buy this album you kill every other release by this man and the legacy dies with him!

  22. JDJ*************** December 4, 2010

O.M.G.. THIS ALBUM SOUNDS LIKE S*** …IM SORRY IT DOES NOT HAVE THE MICHAEL TOUCH ON IT ….I MEAN YOU CAN HEAR HIS VOICE BUT YOU CAN TELL THAT HE CLEARLY WASNT FINISHED WITH ANY OF THEM…….LISTEN TO INVINSIBLE OR ANY OF HIS OTHER ALBUM’S THEN LISTEN TO THIS ONE WHAT A TOTALLY DIFFERENCE …..SUCH A HORRIBLE PUT TOGETHER…….SOME OF THESE SONGS HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO BE REALLY GREAT HAD MIKE BEEN ALIVE TO FINISH THEM LIKE …..I LIKE THE WAY YOU LOVE ME, KEEP YOUR HEAD UP AND MUCH TO SOON…..ANYWAYS SONY CAN SUCK IT ILL STICK WITH LISTENING TO BUTTERFLIES WHICH WAS FLAWLESS…..HUMAN NATURE OH AND CANT FORGET YOU ARE NOT ALONE , BREAK OF DAWN THIS LIST GOES ON***********

  23. HUH? December 4, 2010

it’s not michael’s fault that this doesnt sound good he didnt even want this to be released to begin with ….its those money hungry people at sony

  24. eric December 4, 2010

Half the songs interest me, but I wonder how different they would sound or if they even would’ve made the album under Michael’s direction. I imagine he planned on recording many more songs and then choosing the best ones to polish and master

  25. RoyalKev is a Homosexual December 4, 2010

There should be more than just 10 tracks.

  26. WD76 December 4, 2010

With the exception of 2 songs, these are MJ’s vocals. I think these songs sound very good. And if any of you knew anything about MJ, he was all about lots of production. So I do not see the complaint with “over-production”. Go listen to all of MJ’s albums, with the exception of ‘Invincible’, were heavy production.

I was disappointed when I first heard ‘Breaking News’, but after hearing these snippets, this album sound hot. My fav snippet is ‘Keep Your Head Up’ and ‘Behind The Mask’

  27. Nana Yaw December 4, 2010

Who told you guys Michael never wanted these songs released? He wanted them release for his three children.
Well i’m buying the album. It’s so so good.

  28. yrgdf December 4, 2010

  29. LJ December 4, 2010

DOESNT SOUND LIKE HIM OR REALLY (AUTHENTIC). WTF IS THIS?

  30. SAM December 4, 2010

    i see haters everywhere.

MJ wantedh is legacy to live on. You think he left all these songs in the vault for nothing? you don’t think he wanted to surpass Eivis’ posthumous career? Obviously, you are no MichaelJAckson fans..other you would know he was all about breaking records. If he did not want them release, he would have destroyed these songs….he kept them all even a song lik eMuch too soon which he recorded in the ’80s.

And on December 14th, he will break another one.

WHEN Michael Jackson’s new album “MICHAEL” becomes NUMBER 1, MJ will be the ONLY ARTIST with all number 1 albums for 5 CONSECUTIVE DECADES.

Haters, get ready for the King of pop to take his thrown.

  31. Robier December 4, 2010

WHY IS IT THAT BETTER MJ SONGS HAVE LEAKED ONLINE THAN WHATS ON THIS CD??????

  32. NO NO NO December 5, 2010

Some of those songs DO NOT have MJ’s voice on them.

Look up Jason Malachi. He’s a vocal impersonator who was more than likely paid by $ONY to sing on those tracks.

    It’s pathetic.

NEVER KILL THE GOOSE THAT LAID THE GOLDEN EGG.

  33. sonofbaldwin December 5, 2010

    @Sam:

I do not hate Michael Jackson. I was born in 1971 and grew up on his music. Michael is and forever will be a part of my culture, a part of my life.

But truth is truth. Honesty is honesty: Those songs sound awful. I’m sorry that you think that makes me a hater.

  34. Jessa December 5, 2010

This album is awesome I’m not worried about the retards and haters commenting here there are just saying FAKE because they hate Michael obviously that’s why they follow his name all over the internet lookning for him, right??? RETARDS

LOL idiots this alubum is really special can’t wait for it to come out!!!

  35. Angela Wesley December 5, 2010

They are only two song s that are actually sung by MJ. (1) hold my Hand, and the remake
version of They don’t realy care about us. The rest of these soongs are by jason M guy.
Sony could have made a grestest hit s album that would have than this fake mess.

  36. gfdjuki December 5, 2010

DON’T support $ony!!! Just download it.

  37. Nex December 5, 2010

It’s clear some people here do not know Michael’s full vocal range and style. The only three tracks on here that are “fake” are KYHU, Breaking News, and Monster (they mix some real MJ vocals and samples with an impersonator’s lead vocals). There is no doubt that the rest are him.

@SupaCi, WHAT?! Michael’s voice didn’t have that depth or bass? Listen to tracks from past albums like 2000 Watts… Hollywood Tonight is 100% MJ, no question. MJ had more depth and range to his voice than any other artist, over 3.6 octaves.

Sony could have replaced the three suspicious and cheaply produced tracks with others that have never been released and are certifiably Michael–“Blue Gangsta”, “A Place with No Name”, and “Do You Know Where Your Children Are” for instance.
