Following the poor performance of Omarion‘s 2009 LP ‘Ollusion’ LP, the R&B singer vowed to switch things up for his next record. A promise the former B2K star seems to be sticking to, if newly surfaced cut ‘Forgot About Love’ is anything to go by.

With its solid production and unique vocal arrangements (which were clearly inspired by Brandy), O looks to be onto a winner with this one. A winner being something his career is in urgent need of at present – as there still remains no word on which label will be distributing his forthcoming LP.

The verses remind me a lot of Brandy’s “Drum Life,” which was a bonus track from Human. I love that song though. This one lacks continuity. I don’t really like it.

it’s sad to see the stars that I grew up when i was a teenager = during their former glory days struggle now. This is just ok it kinda gets annoying after the first verse. Omarion’s career has been over honestly since the 21 album which is sad because that is his best album. he got lucky with icebox and since then it’s been alot of misses on his part. I hope he can bounce back and get at least another gold album. it’s sad though that O the album went to #1 and only sold 700,000 and then 21 another #1 only sells 350000

Omarion can dance and he can sing his ass off but when CB came out it was slowly over for O.It’s sad but the reality is if you are not unique in what you do people will forget about you.There is nothing special about Omarion if it was then Ollusion would have done better.I wish the best of luck to Omari.
This is actually hot! I see that he definitely took Brandy 101. I always liked his style of singing and the work he did with Cornaboyz. I think Breezy’s arrival in the game may have something to do with the lack of interest in Omarion, but he’s creative enough to maintain his place in the industry. I think his strength is performing and he’s one of the few people that could be just as raw and exciting as CB.

This song must be a hit for Europeans because they accept anything. This song is HORRIBLE! His songs on Ollusion were way better. That album wasn’t promoted well as well as its singles.

This is a GREAT song. It’s just enough Pop, just enough R&B. I love this. Remember ‘Touch’? That was a great song as well, and it was a good mix of poppy R&B. Why can’t artists STOP trying so hard to cross over and take this route? That generic s*** is tired, and as much as I adore Chris Brown, his pop songs aren’t quite as good as this one. I wish he’d make this instead of generic pop!
Speedin was an underground hit and couldve been a real hit if it was promoted well and if it was the actual lead single instead of that dreadful dance song he had chosen.

I like it, It’s cool! It does sounds a lot like Brandy especially on the chorus with the harmonizong but B Rock is my girl so I don’t mind. It doesn’t sound like the typical r&b track it has an interesting beat, and he even goes acapella on it which gets kind weird after a while. I was never really feeling his singing voice, but he sounds pretty decent on here.
Omarion had pretty much fell off my radar, and everyone’s for that matter, but this is very promising. I don’t know how it will do as a single though so I guess we will have to see. I think ‘Speedin’ was one of his best records yet and that completely fell flat so you just never know. Good luck O!
