Today is the first time that I have heard her song Miss You from the 4 album. And I have to say that is good track. I found it kinda surprising as it was new side compared to Beyonce’s familiar sound. Also heard the song Schooling Life and Love on Top. Very impressed. Schooling Life is turning out to be my fave.

Singer Keri Hilson has revealed exactly what it took for her to become the singing sensation that she is today. The 28 year old admitted that she often had to go without sleep to fit in her music, along with all of her studies, as her parents would not allow her to have music unless her grades were good.
Keri explained, “You don’t get to this level without having a mind-set of ‘sleep sold separately.’ It’s survival of the fittest. If you’re not exercising your talent every day, then you’re not fit to have longevity.” She added, “I had many, many days of no sleep. I would come in from the studio at 4 or 5 in the morning, (then) study for an 8 a.m. test,” says Hilson, 28. “I couldn’t have music if my grades weren’t good. I couldn’t just flunk out of college. I knew what that meant to my parents.”
All the hard work has clearly paid off for Keri Hilson, who has released two impressive albums. The most recent album, titled ‘No Boys Allowed’ features such big name stars as Rick Ross and Chris Brown, as well as Timberland and Ne-Yo.
