And with a few minor cameos under her belt, the Bajan pretender has landed herself a meatier role in action flick ‘Battleship’.

On her role as Navy officer Raikes in the flick, Fenty said:
“She’s a fighter, she’s a killer. (She’s) one of the boys. We do everything together. We go on all our missions together.”
The physically-taxing role, which required that the 23 year old train with real military officers, sees her hunt what she describes as”thug” aliens at sea.
We can only hope she hunts down a good vocal coach and choreographer, because while she makes moves into pastures new, her music performances remain late and lacking.

Transformers 2 & 3 were stupid, G.I. Joe was stupid, this film will be stupid. Studios are always spending gobs of money on these computer generated films that people forget about right after they leave the theater because they’re desperate to get audiences back in the theater for “event” films.
Fitting that Rihanna is in a film which uses the same business model as her music. Pour money into a GENERIC product to make it look interesting when it is hollow, empty shell, and break even because they’ve shoved it down people’s throats.

Beyonce can not act her way out of a paper bag to save her life!!!!! Weak plot with bad acting. Atleast, Idirs and Ali tried to resurrect the movie but, to no avail. Ali rocked in the movie; good job. However, Beyonce dragged the movie through the gutters. I don’t recall seeing any A-list actors at the premier!!!!! I should have taken that as a sign to stay home.
