Lady GaGa On ‘Casting Couch Culture’: ‘Girls Are Walking Into A Lion’s Den’

Published: Tuesday 12th Nov 2013 by David

While her career has oft seen her call on and fight for equality for the gay community, today has seen Lady GaGa issue a warning to young women hoping to enter the music industry, doing so via her recent conversation with the ever entertaining Howard Stern.

Yes, in what marked a surprising turn in the interview, Stern quizzed the ‘Starstruck‘ singer on reports that she was pressured to comply with ‘sexual requests’ made by those whose support she sought to gain.

It was then, in serving an answer that will shock many, that she warned entertainment hopefuls of the ‘lions den’ they unknowingly walk into when seeking a career in entertainment… a lion’s den, that she revealed scarred her for life.

Hit the 25 minute mark…

  5. Tisha November 12, 2013

Gaga thankfully has never had to worry about it. One look at her and producers paid her NOT to sleep with them.

  12. Touché November 12, 2013

I feel bad for upcoming artists who have to deal with situations like that. She’s not joking when she says how manipulative people in the music industry. They can put you in such vulnerable positions where they can take advantage of you.

  13. WhenOnikaSaysJump November 12, 2013

Everyone thinks those kinds of stories are fake but people won’t know how to deal when we find out about how some of the girls and guys we go in for got their deals.

    • BEYHIVE_MINAJ November 12, 2013

Can you just stick to the topic? Just go away already

  17. TeenageDreamer November 12, 2013

She’s been so uptight this whole era until now.

  18. CiciFinnaBeABride November 12, 2013

Rita Ora is one of the girls Gaga is talking about. Everyone knows it.

  19. KDreamer(Miguel’sLove) November 12, 2013

    Gaga spoke the truth today.

  20. TruthAboutPink November 12, 2013

Don’t forget about the guys too. So sad and so tragic.

  21. DeruloDreamer November 12, 2013

It happened to Chris Brown imo, I think that’s why he’s so crazy.

  22. BrandNuStar November 12, 2013

No shade but Rita needs to watch out and realize that she’s heading down a dangerous path.

  23. *ℙᏫℙ ℝᏫᎩAℒᎿᎩ* November 12, 2013

I Knew It, You See This Rita Ora post Downstairs ?

    Exactly.

This Industry is Cloudy and Ungrateful, I think Not only Girls, I think They do Boys/Guys Too, you See This Justin Bieber Guy or those 1D guys ? They are So “Touched” and It is obvious. 😕

she’s a Trouble This Era, a Thing I do Like and Can’t hate most of The Time.

  24. Iconic cici November 12, 2013

    Rita needs to watch out

  25. Tallb November 12, 2013

did she honestly say that everything about an artist should just be about the music when she tries to get attention everywhere?

  26. BEYHIVE_MINAJ November 12, 2013

I like this interview, she’s really genuine. The music industry builds you up just to tear you down. Remember what happened to Janet at the Super Bowl?

  27. MIQ VERSE November 13, 2013

This is something I believe happens in ALL industries to some degree unfortunately. The real question is what would make someone pay that price to get ahead? You have to value yourself more than anything else in this world.

  28. Michael Sanchez February 26, 2019

it’s full of predators and whores. the one isnt better than the other. they’re both predatory. one seeks money, fame and power, and the other seeks s**. they’re trading, not being taken advtange of, unless they’re minors. these whores just dont want to take responsibility for being whores because they dont want to admit how mediocre they are
