PEOPLE magazine reports that the diva will release a picture book aimed at kids christened ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You.’
Speaking on the venture, Carey – who is also working on a Holiday movie for Hallmark – gushed:
“When I wrote All I Want For Christmas Is You it was my dream for it to become a classic Christmas song. I am so proud of the song’s impact as it continues to create memories for fans each year.
I am thrilled to be able to bring the story of the song to new generations of families with the picture book.”
Kudos to Team Mimi for finding new ways to keep her name “out there” and relevant to generations beyond those who enjoyed her at her peak.
It’s smart business and will likely keep her brand in business for years to come!

I’m so happy she decided to actually do this. It’s so adorable. I can vision her and the twins gathered around sitting looking at the pictures together while her Xmas albums play in the background.
This is a great move for her.., it’s true that some of these new ventures should’ve really been in her life years ago. It’s great though, as this gives her the possibility of time out of the spotlight while keeping the name ‘Mariah Carey™’ very much out in the public consciousness.
