Report: Pussycat Dolls Set For 2018 Return

Published: Sunday 1st Oct 2017 by Sam

Are the Pussycat Dolls prepping a return to the Pop charts?

According to a new report, the answer is… yes!

Full story below…

The news comes courtesy of a British newspaper, who asserts that Nicole Scherzinger, Melody Thornton and co are gearing up to reform almost a decade after going their separate ways.

Their source said:

“Talk of the girls getting back together has been rife for a few years now and they have finally found a time which works for them all.

They are still deciding whether it will involve a full tour or just a handful of performances but they are excited to be getting out there together again.

The girls feel the time is right to let bygones be bygones and put any differences they had behind them and celebrate the great songs they made.

As well as their old tunes, they are hoping to treat fans with new music, too.

When they parted ways in 2009 it was only intended to be a hiatus, so it feels like the right thing to do.”

During their short-but-sweet run, the group sold 54 million records worldwide and scored multiple hits worldwide.

Another full-fledged run almost sounds impractical, but there’s no reason why a greatest hits and tour couldn’t work. That would actually be quite cute.

How the vocal distribution will be handled this time will be interesting to see!

Let me go listen to “Beep” ft. Will.i.am.

  2. Achooo! October 1, 2017

I am happy about this news I love Pussycat Dolls. Im glad Nicole came to terms that she is only good with the Dolls.

My thoughts EXACTLY!! IMO Melody Thornton was a better vocalist than Nicole her voice wasn’t the best while being the lead for “The Pussycat Dolls” ??‍♂️

      • Starxavi October 2, 2017

I disagree. I think Melody is a very talented vocalist for sure and he voice she be hear way more if new music is to come, but Nicole has a more versatile and controlled voice that is suited to many different genres. But I hope all of them get a fair share of singing parts.

Only want the reunion if they record a new album and share vocals. I don’t want them to be Nicole’s backup dancers again cause clearly the world really just wanted to see her on stage right, especially the U.S. loved her solo music career so much right!!? Ha ha.

Share vox and get back together = cool. If not, keep it and let it remain a thing of the past!

  4. Moe October 1, 2017

    Omg i live them . 5H who?

  5. Duan October 1, 2017

a bit too late if you ask me. who wants to see women in their 40s dancing on stage? Not me. Let the new generation have their time, they had theirs. Nicole should go have some kids before it’s really too late for her.

    • Bam October 1, 2017

This is horrible. I’m so sick of ageism in the music industry if an artist is good and puts out bangers there is no reason they should have to stop to let the new generation shine, no the new generation just needs to up their game. People always so ready to throw out an artist once they hit 40 ridiculous…

      • Starxavi October 2, 2017

Exactly!! That doesn’t even make sense when Janet Jackson is out here selling out shows and slaying choreography that most of the new generation girls could only dream of doing At 50 years of age. If the passion and ability is still there in your 40s or 50s then keeep slaying these h***!

I’m here for it once all the girls get parts …cause Kimberly and Ashlee solo stuff was really good and Jessica also had a few good songs as well

  7. Jeans October 1, 2017

    Yesssss. Love it!!!!

    Lets be clear
Beyonce and Kelly have been the only girls aside from Diana Ross and Patti labelle to have successful Solo Careers outside their groups.

Nicole let this be a lesson sis

    • Paulo October 1, 2017

lmao the reach! other singers from girl groups have had solo success in the past plus Destiny’s Child has TWO chart-topping acts in the US and none of them is named Kelly.

    • XYZ October 2, 2017

Cheryl cole was very successful as well. Mel c had her time, too. There were some members of girl groups that became successful. Beyoncé is of course the most successful but Kelly is not at the second place

    • Jasmine October 2, 2017

There are numerous female singers that had successful solo careers after they left the group. Too many to name actually

    • Starxavi October 2, 2017

Nicole could have had stateside solo success if she would have been more patient. Iv’ve always said that her biggest mistake was trying to go solo after the first PCD album. She should have waited for the second album and gained even more popularity. After Doll Domination, I think Nicole definitely could have had solo success. Most of the solo music she did put out was so generic and not really showcasing the vocal talent that she has, but I do look forward to a reunion. I’ve always been a Nicole fan ever since Eden’s Crush.

      • Jasmine October 3, 2017

@Starxavi Nicole was already in her 30s when she tried to go solo. She would NOT have had solo success if she had waited.

  9. Fancy BISH October 1, 2017

Maybe Fergie, Miley and Katy can audition lol

  10. ya October 1, 2017

Letoya Luckett has also done well outside of destinys child and Michelle some what too…

    • Theblackbrucewyn October 2, 2017

Yess!! LeToya IS A FREAKIBG GEM AND HER MUSIC IS ?????!

  11. HOWYOULIKEIT October 1, 2017

After listening to Melody’s POYBL, Im interested only if she will sing lead this time

    • Bam October 1, 2017

Yes that mixtape is a gift.

  12. RealNegro October 1, 2017

“Don’t Cha” is a classic and it’s not up for debate. Every time I hear that song I think of Rasputia Lattimore and Norbit. Classic!

  13. Musika October 1, 2017

This is good promo for all the members with Jessica and Kimberley releasing their solo debut albums while Nicole’s yet to record her 2nd album. So why not?

    • ? + ✈ = ? October 2, 2017

Nicole’s put out 2 albums already. Both flops

  14. Xoxo October 1, 2017

Omg yes I’m here for this

  15. Bam October 1, 2017

Waiting for Danity KAne to decide that they’re gonna trunk again only to break up shortly after the announcement.

    • Bam October 1, 2017

      * try again

  16. Paulo October 1, 2017

I wonder how much time until Nicole does the girls dirty again… they should’ve let Nicole do her solo thing and kept on as a group with shared lead vocals.

    • MusicLife October 2, 2017

Yes I agree that would have been nice for them to try going forward with the brand sans Nicole since she was wanting to go solo. Basically what 5H did minus waiting for Camila.

We wanna here different vocals not just Scherzinger!

  17. @ October 2, 2017

If Nicole is doing all the vocals as usual then i’m not here for it
