Report: Pink Prepping Las Vegas Residency

Published: Friday 12th Apr 2019 by Sam

Las Vegas is increasingly becoming a magnet for major stars as music’s live circuit continues its embrace of fixed location residencies.

The latest name in the mix is Pink.

Dive below for details…

According to the Review Journal, the high-flying star is looking to swing into the Park Theater for her own concert series in 2020.

A sell for the singer is said to be the venue’s ability to handle the level of spectacle she’s renown for bringing to her stage shows. Spectacle she’s currently dazzling with on her mammoth ‘Beautiful Trauma World Tour.’

Securing Pink would add to a packed slate for Park, who are currently housing Lady Gaga‘s ‘Enigma’ and will also play host to Janet Jackson‘s ‘Metamorphosis’ as well as Christina Aguilera‘s ‘The Xperience’ – both of which launch next month.

The news comes just days after it was revealed that Katy Perry is also plotting a Sin City residency at The Colosseum, Caesars Palace – which Celine Dion vacates in June.

We’re here for it!

Watching Vegas morph into an even hotter spot realtime is rivetting to see.

Factually, artists aren’t making what they used to from music sales, which in turn has amplified the importance of the live circuit (aka where the $$$ are).

And yet the rigors of the road can be difficult for even the most seasoned of performers.

So, it’s clear why it’s becoming infectiously attractive for popular acts to bring audiences to a stationed base.

Ahead of any such announcement of a Pink show, check out her new album ‘Hurts 2B Human’ when it drops on April 26th.

Welp, as long as the artists are worth seeing live, this could be a good way for fans to make vacation based on taking in seeing their fave live in concert. Imagine seeing Drake, Janet and Pink all in the same week ?

Next, someone needs to come up with an R&B all stars show that does a residency in Vegas – now that would be lit ???

These artists are simply booking multiple dates in Vegas over a few months at a time. I am so sick & tired of EVERY RECORDING ARTIST on the roster of our present day music industry being handed a damn “residency” like cups of water at a stateside track meet. ITS FOOLISH! I would never accept the same damn opportunity just being passed out to any & everybody with a record deal. P!NK is better than this!

Shout out to Britney Spears for setting the ground work for all of these artist.

Stop stupidity. Britney went there right after flopping. The one who started this and went there when she was still selling albums like vegan hot cakes was Celine Dion, 16 years ago. That´s when this started.

She’s so boring, everything after the truth about love has been so mehhh. Like get it together.

Celine Dion really paved the way for all of them.

Who in their right mind is going to pay to see Pink?! Good God!

I feel it would be a wonderful choice for the Queen to do more permanent gig in Vegas. With her family growing older, and her vineyard maturing. It would be a no brainer for this mega star. I know I would be there more often. Rock on P!nk!! We love you ????
