Album Stream: ‘Charlie’s Angels’ Soundtrack [Produced by Ariana Grande]

Published: Thursday 31st Oct 2019 by Rashad

After much ado, the official ‘Charlie’s Angels’ soundtrack soars onto digital shelves today (November 1).

Curated and co-executive produced by Ariana Grande, the musical effort precedes the highly anticipated Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska-led film’s arrival into theaters by two weeks (November 15).

Having already gifted fans the top 20 hit, ‘Don’t Call Me Angel’ (Grande, Lana Del Rey, and Miley Cyrus), and the high octane ‘How It’s Done’ (Kash Doll, Kim Petras, Alma, and Stefflon Don), the lady-loaded affair is chock full of stars and even features the likes of Chaka Khan, Nicki Minaj, Normani, Danielle Bradbery, and more.

The movie and soundtrack don’t appear to be anything good.

She went from the Epic “God is a Woman” – a truly underrated gem to THIS GARBAGE? Girl.

It’s really all over the place. Throw the whole project away. Movie included. Her inexperience is very noticeable. Other artist produced soundtracks like Black Panther, Great Gatsby, Lion King etc., merged the story and the musical profile of the artist in a way that actually made sense. Ariana is not seasoned enough, nor has she shown even in her own music enough artistic awareness, to be able to curate a movie soundtrack. The movie doesn’t look good either but I think someone like Gaga would’ve been a more appropriate choice to do something like this. Or Lana. Or honestly, even Miley.

      Stop telling lies.
The gift didnt merge well with the lion king movie.

Gaga, lana, or miley have no business curating a Charlie’s angel soundtrack.

This movie didnt need an entire soundtrack album. Period

Arianna is not musically matured to produce a movie soundtrack.
    This is very lackluster

This album is a stain in Arianna discography

This is worse than the gift.

Damn, just finished listening to the entire album,
    This is HOT TRASH.

this album is full left overs from her previous albums. Arianna this is lazy as hell.

Arianna said she’s taking a break after this album and she gonna change her sound, good for her.

Ariana grande is not the right person for this soundtrack. She is not a badass. Charlie’s Angels is all about though woman. She’s to sweet for that. Miley Cyrus would have been a better choice. She’s a badass and sell the songs with her attitude. The songs are a little bit boring and slow, except for the song: how it’s done (No Ariana).

I don’t know why people (especially the haters) bring Beyoncé up. The gift wasn’t that great, but she can create a vibe in an album that matches with the theme (Lion king movie and the song spirit), Ariana fails to do. Bye

Dont call me your angel outpeaked spirit.

Both were lead singles from their respective albums.
      Sit down

The gift album was a stupid cliche. Love letter to Africa my àss.
Africans didnt even like the album.

Making unlistenable songs is not music. Just because its lion king and its Africa doesnt mean u should be making stereotypical sounding African songs

Black panther sound track was African inspired and the songs were great. All the stars had African inspired beats even the video was African inspired.
All the stars was a smash. The song and video received critical acclaim and was nominated for several awards.

I love Ari but chile! Even Nicki being part of this mess wouldn’t make me want to listen to it. And why the hell is this flop movie even got a soundtrack? ?️?

  8. Urg November 1, 2019

    ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

  9. Haterz Gon‘ Hate November 1, 2019

It’s just a mess. I couldn’t get through more than 3 tracks – it’s just a rushed mess of noise with poor production and writing values. I excited to see what Normani is bringing in future but what is that track with Ari and Nicki about? Gurl should have stayed away from this soundtrack !! Delete delete delete!!!
