I don’t think it’ll flop but I don’t think it will be a slow seller, possibly in 2-3 years be slowly faxed out. Beyoncé holds herself back by not promoting what she’s expecting to sell. Everyone keep saying “the styles are tacky, she has no style” but it’s a f***!ng athletic line, it look perfectly fine for the market she’s trying to reach. The main problem is even with an artist big as Yoncé, nobody even knows about the line and that’s with the adidas link up. A lot of people don’t know nor do they care. Her promo strategy is sending “the big orange box” to her celebrity and close friends, they’ll post it on Instagram. They’re fans will go out and buy it…having picks of your ass hanging out of leotards with the shoes on, no logo, no branding tag line, no tv or web adds. Her name is NOT strong enough to sell, especially not in fashion. Kelly has better promo for her line with Fabletics and her s*** is affordable, comfortable and also can be worn as everyday clothing.
