Mariah Carey Calls For Justice For George Floyd With Powerful Performance

Published: Saturday 30th May 2020 by Sam

Like millions across the world, Mariah Carey is demanding justice for George Floyd – the unarmed Black man who died after Minnesota police officer Derek Chauvin placed his knee on his neck for seven minutes.

While some of the singer’s peers have issued statements, she opted to protest racial injustice by way of performance.

See what we mean below…

In an emotional social media post, Carey sung a portion of her song ‘There’s Got To Be A Way,’ which she accompanied with the caption:

I wrote this song for my first album. Still looking for answers today. We have to make a change. We can’t be silent. #BlackLivesMatter
Text ‘FLOYD’ to 55156 to demand #JusticeForFloyd 🎵 I don’t understand how there can be regulated bigotry. There’s got to be a way to connect this world today 🎵

      Trust & believe.

      The powers that be.

      Count on the probability.

Of mass black gatherings to be in future blamed for a second Rona wave just to distract from the hoards of Trump supporters who, only recently, had defied state confinement orders and roamed maskless. And if mass black deaths from the virus ensue, the plan will have worked better than expected.

Some rely on causing chaos to make their multigenerational superstitions come true. The world’s a sstrange stage, we mere puppets on it.

    B E A U T I F U L

Off-topic: I, now, see physical proof tummy tucks “strangled” her belts!

Spy how she tried to modulate her vibrato at the end of the belted note? Her diaphragm doesn’t protrude to support the rounded sound she emits from her chest, which results in her squeaking. Her technique’s there, her belly’s padded breath chamber is not.

One lipo is dangerous enough. 3 (as I suspect she had had) are undoable damage. Too bad she chose aesthetics over vocal longevity.

        Thinking out loud.

        Should I just call her?
