Moments ago, Jermaine Dupri shared a shot of himself in the studio with the 21-year-old.
They were joined by Bryan-Michael Cox and Johnta Austin.
The production trio is renowned for crafting classics such as Mariah Carey’s ‘We Belong Together’ as well as Ari Lennox‘s recent R&B radio hit ‘Pressure.’
Bailey’s studio session comes during the hiatus of sibling ensemble Chloe x Halle and on the heels of the songbird teasing incoming material online.
It also takes place after she wrapped her role as the lead Ariel in the forthcoming live-action remake of ‘The Little Mermaid’ (which hits theaters in May 2023) and ahead of her performance in the big-screen musical adaptation of ‘The Color Purple.’
Hm, something tells me to expect a rehash of “Be Without You” by MJB, “One In a Lifetime” by Monica, or “Makin’ Love” by Dondria.
