Beyonce’s ‘Cowboy Carter’ Submitted in Country Category at the GRAMMYs 2025

Published: Wednesday 2nd Oct 2024 by Sam

Beyonce‘s trailblazing Country album ‘Cowboy Carter’ album charged its way to the top of the charts upon its release in March and is widely credited with ushering in a Black Country music renaissance in the contemporary climate.

Now, the LP is making a beeline for glory at the GRAMMY Awards – specifically in the Country category.

Full story below…

According to The Hollywood Reporter, ‘Cowboy Carter’ has formally been submitted for nomination consideration in the Best Country Album category.

The submission is notable on a number of fronts.

For, it comes seven years after the Academy’s Country committee opted not to shortlist the Country-anchored ‘Daddy Lessons’ from Queen Bey’s critically acclaimed 2016 LP ‘Lemonade’

News of the categorization comes a mere matter of weeks after Beyonce was snubbed at the CMA Awards, where she received zero nominations for ‘Cowboy Carter’ and its historic chart-topping lead single ‘Texas Hold ‘Em.’

At last week’s People’s Choice Country Awards, the project was passed up in the 17 categories it was nominated in.

Should Beyonce nab Country nominations at the GRAMMYs 2025, she will add to an already impressive run at Music’s Biggest Night.

Serving as the ceremony’s most-awarded artist of all time, the 43-year-old has the esteemed honor of being nominated across multiple genres. Indeed, at the 2017 show alone, the megastar made history with ‘Lemonade’ as the first artist to garner nods in the Rock, Rap, R&B, and Pop fields in the same year.

Voting to determine the nominees for the GRAMMYs 2025 is ongoing and concludes on October 15.

Thereafter, nominations will be officially announced on November 8, 2024, with final voting taking place from December 12, 2024 through to January 3, 2025.

The live GRAMMYs 2025 ceremony will air on February 2, 2025 from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Beyonce “it’s not a country album”

She just obsessed with awards and payola

She lost her artistic credibility long time ago, not sure if she really had one actually.

……WHERE SHE COULD PURCHASE THE AWARDS IN EVERY CATEGORY NOMINATED! IS HOW THIS ARTICLE REALLY SOUNDED/ READ AS THOUGH IT WANTED TO FINISH!
I’LL BE SO GLAD WHEN SHE STOPS TRYING TO MAKE FETCH HAPPEN WITH THIS ALBUM NOBODY REALLY LIKED!
IT APPEARS THAT THIS CHICK OVER-THOUGHT THIS THINKING THAT SHE’D SWEEP AWARDS IN EVERY CATEGORY NOMINATED & SHE BARELY WAS NOMINATED A COUPLE & RECEIVED ZILCH IN NOMINATIONS IN THE OTHER AWARDS SHOW.
SHE’S A THREE-TIME LOSER IN EVERY CATEGORY SHE’D SUBMITTED THE ALBUM THAT SHE HERSELF DID NOT REFER TO AS A COUNTRY ALBUM.
WHEN IS SHE GONNA REALIZE THAT COUNTRY MUSIC MOVES JUST FINE W/O HER PRESENCE DUE TO THE PLAYERS/ARTISTS BEING GOOD IN THEIR OWN THING. THIS WAS SO CLEARLY JUST COSPLAY FOR HER & THEY/COUNTRY HEAD HONCHOS SAW RIGHT THROUGH HER PHASE OF TRYING TO BE SOMETHING SHE ISN’T!
SHE LOOKED SO GOOFY IN THAT SPARKLY COWBOY BULLSH*T FOR PUBLIC APPEARANCES THAT I-WHO AM NOT A FAN- FELT EMBARRASSED FOR HER.
IT WOULD KEEP HER FROM LOOKING AS DELUSIONAL AS SHE SO CLEARLY SEEMS.
SHE SHOULD JUST LET THIS ALBUM QUIETLY FADE AWAY & DO THE NEXT CHAPTER SO THAT THAT COULD QUIETLY FADE AWAY AS WELL. THEN SHE COULD GO BACK TO THE GENRES WHERE SHE BEST FITS!
