Ariana Grande has unlocked the cinematic video for ‘petal,’ the title track of her newly bloomed album of the same name.
Directed by longtime collaborator Christian Breslauer, the striking clip sees the songbird flex her acting chops in the short film.
Unwrapped moments ago, the video showcases Grande in the role of a 1950s-era character named Pepper who navigates a high-stakes audition narrative.
The must-see follows the visual for ‘hate that i made you love me,’ which premiered atop the Billboard Hot 100 in June.
Grande’s freshly hatched offering comes as its housing album rocketed straight to #1 on the Apple Music US tally.
It also comes amidst the performer’s ‘eternal sunshine tour.’
